Backstory wrote:This nervous little gal was originally bought as an eight week old by a family for christmas last year. Unfortunately they quickly grew tired of the dog chasing their cats and nipping their kids, as they obviously had done very little to train her as a puppy. They dropped her off at a high kill shelter and after several days she was bumped up on the kill list for attacking the other dogs when they walked past the pen as well as nipping at the workers whenever they tried to walk or feed her. Thankfully she was bailed out by a fairly experienced dog trainer who helped work through a majority of her issues while she was being held at a local no-kill rescue, however she still retains an aggressive streak toward other dogs and small animals. She has a very high prey drive and lots of energy to burn, and will otherwise become destructive and anxious if not worked with properly.
