Him and his siblings were taken in and were in critical condition for several days; eventually, they began to perk up. Once the puppies were cleared, the animal hospital contacted a local breeder of merle and harlequin dogs that they thought might have lost the litter during the flood. The breeder however denied owning them and had no records of the puppies, and after a few more days of searching, the puppies were given to a local shelter to be adopted out.
Despite his unfortunate start, this dog is very outgoing and loves to have a job to do. He absolutely loves water and exploring any place, especially if it gets him covered in mud. He cab get a little proud of himself at times, but with a patient and firm training method he can get over that and become a great working dog. He gets along excellent with people, and loves to relax at the end of a long day!
