How they lost their leg: As Alekanekelo name states in Hawaiian he is a protector. He lost his leg in a very brutal battle that lasted over 12 hours. In this battle he was fighting to protect his younger sibling in the end it he didn't win and in those last moments the opponent had overpowered him and ended up ripping his leg off with the last cruel words "Try and follow us with three leg now....HaHaHa....". From bloodlose he ended up going unconscious and when he woke his sibling gone and so was the opponent, after that he vowed to take revenge and never get very close to anyone agian. The pain of losing them would be too much.
