What are Nile River Equids?

Nile River Equids (NREs) are a sub-breed of Mustangs who were discovered to be living in Africa. They tend to range anywhere from 12 hh to 16 hh, while there have been known to be slightly smaller or larger. These horses tend to be able to sustain themselves on a minimal amount of water and food, they can travel long distances and have extraordinary stamina. The people who discovered these animals found that they were extraordinarily friendly and the braided tails are a sign that the NRE is domesticated or belongs to another person.

Candyland by Not Like Me
I land in a ‘humph’
Atop vanilla ice cream.
At least it seems like it,
It holds me,
Yet it tastes like mint.
Colors swirl around a circular shape,
The sun.
Puffs of smoke are released from the triangular chimneys,
Huffing and sighing angrily.
Being released into the chilled sky
And disappearing under their own weight,
Is not favored amongst them.
A ball of cotton candy rolls by like tumbleweed,
And I notice,
It’s quiet.
Other than that of sighs of chocolate smoke,
It smells like lollipops and candy drops.
I wonder where I’ve landed.
The dodo bird didn’t say.
He had other errands to run
He had mentioned in a British accent not acquainted to birds.
Wonderland it seems like,
Because wondering I cannot help.
But the Queen of Hearts sits atop wrappers of all kind.
Blabbering and blubbering,
I wonder if she’d want help.
I have assumed I have landed on Candyland,
And my move is next.
