theme song ;; Raining - Art of Dying personality ;; Loki is very self-deprecating, and rarely ever says nice things about himself. He will uplift others and give compliments as he so pleases, but they will never, ever be in reference to himself. He doesn't like being touched, as well - he's got a rather high level of touch-aversion, and dislikes greatly having to even rub up against other wolves. For this reason and others, he tends to be by himself most of the time. He's rather short in stature, and hates that he's so small - he feels lesser than other, bigger wolves because of his height. He can rarely be found laughing up a storm or jovially chortling along with whatever joke is being told; his sense of humor is absurdly specific, and only known truly to himself. He would rather sit and look at someone with a neutral expression than to egg them on into thinking they are funny, when he doesn't actually believe they are. Loki is stubborn about only a few things - most of his opinions and thoughts can easily be swayed to be something other than what they are. He doesn't have a very strong backbone, and as such is somewhat of a sponge and a weakling. Because of this, he tends to put up a wall between himself and others - he is not very willing to form good relationships, and would rather be left alone for the rest of his life than to jeopardize his so-called "emotional-well-being." In reality, Loki is a hurt and harmed soul who doesn't trust others because he doesn't know how to. His entire life has been spent on the run, being skittish and skirting others so as to protect himself from pain. As such, Loki tends to be very awkward in social situations, and doesn't ever say much in terms of being solidified to one particular wolf - he has no friends, and prefers to keep it that way.
how do they feel about themselves? ;; While he may have been named after the Nordic god who has an ego the size of the universe, Loki doesn't have good self-esteem. He often can be found biting and tugging on loose fur, resulting in patches of baldness; because of this nervous tick, he has Trichotillomania. This illness negatively affects Loki's already-low self-image, and makes Loki think even less of himself than he normally would. He may wish he could stop the negative actions he's fallen into habit of performing, but he doesn't want outside help - he mistakenly believes he can solve all of his problems on his own, and that he needs no outside source to offer him any assistance whatsoever. While he may have a pretty good sense of bullheadedness about some topics, this isn't always a good thing - Loki tends to think badly of himself, but not so badly that he believes he needs help. While he is a weakling, Loki hates to think of himself in that way, and prefers to think of himself as a smart enough wolf to get done what must get done by his merry self. He isn't always right, however, and that tends to end badly for the pup. Loki generally thinks very negatively of himself, and often partakes in self-deprecating mannerisms, such as telling himself he'll never deserve happiness nor ever get saved by someone else...even if that is all he wants in his miserable life. He can often be found muttering musings to himself - but none of them are good or positive ones. Most are borderline bullying tactics - but Loki doesn't seem to think he deserves anything better than what he has. Overall, Loki will continue forth in this pattern of self-hatred until someone shows him that there is another way to live, and that he can change his life for the better. Until then, Loki will continue in this downward spiral, hopefully not igniting into flames once he reaches the bottom of the funnel.
