Aeulius is a quiet, reserved stallion. He spends lots of time outdoors and very little time with other horses.
Because of this he has been given nicknames like Phantom and Ghost.
Aelius enjoys nature because he feels at home there, like he fits in. But among other horses he is clumsy and tongue tied, and always has been. He doesn't like being so awkward, but he can't help it. When he is around other horses he becomes petrified and so scared of messing up he always does.
But, in the wide open spaces he feels free and safe. The birds and bugs don't care about him being there, and they don't judge him for being the way he is.
He has spent so much time in the open meadows away from the herd and the shade of the trees the sun has faded his coat in spots, making him look ghostly to the other horses when they see him in the shadows.
While he is okay with being a loner, sometimes he wants a friend, and even longs for a bit of romance. But as hopeless as he is with words and eloquence he doubts any mare could ever find him worth loving.
