Hazard Cats are long legged felines with quite a few robotic qualities.
Their tails are about the length of their body, split into two pieces,
and connected by some form of energy. The glass screens on their
chest are most commonly known to show a heartbeat, but many other
glowing images can appear there. These images mirror the cat’s
health in one way or another. Some cats have static on their screens,
but beware, those cats are as dangerous as they are rare! The picture
on the screen will always match the color of the cat’s eyes, which
typically have hollowed pupils. Hazards have three eyes, but the center
one is almost always covered with a band-aid or something similar.
This is because of the often dangerous powers that are channeled
through the third eye. Grates on the cats’ sides aid in breathing and
can also emit a steam, sound and mist, as well as a strange goo.
Their large ears allow them to hear potential prey miles away and make
them skilled trackers, but they are easily overwhelmed by too much
noise. Thanks to their strong legs, Hazard cats can reach speeds up to
fifty miles per hour and leap near ten feet up.

I am unstable. My form wavers in and out. One second I can see everything clearly, and the next everything is just a whirling mess. I can never be tamed. I've seen no other like me. I am nothingness, a shadow, a darkness that can't be saved. Yet I want to feel. I want to be accepted with the others. I am alone.

What Happened Here?
The cause of this experiment was to attempt to enhance the speed ability in hazard cats, allowing them to run even faster than average, instead they got a little too much than what they bargained for. On one stormy night they were testing an enhancement to a dark colored hazard and one in a million happened. A lightning bolt hit the lab, braking circuits and causing sparks to fly on the accelerator the hazard was inside. As sparks hit the poor hazard he stopped running and was flung back on the still moving treadmill. Hitting a shelf with a thud he was knocked out, broken chemical flasks all around him. When he woke up he felt- different. He felt like he could move with increasing speed but as he ran he slowly changed, morphed into this destructive whirlwind and after not too long the effects of him using his speed was irreversible. To say the least it has caused him feelings of disarray as only chaos follows him everywhere he goes.

They wanted me to be good. They gave me some dumb name, a name that meant nothing to me. They acted like they loved me, but they didn't. They hated me. I could see, in their words and the way they treated me. The sharp gleam of cruelty in their eyes, the harsh sound of one palm against another, ordering me, telling me what to do. They said horrible things would happen if I didn't obey them. They were right. When I got tired of it, I stopped. Stopped listening, stopped obeying, stopped letting myself get walked over like a welcome mat to the worst party I'd eve had. I opened my eye, and became who I am now. They told me not to open my third eye. Told me that there would be terrible consequences. They were right.
The consequence was who I became when I opened my eye.
