personality; Derek is quite the rambunctious spoopie, and quite michevious to boot! He is known to be more of a tricker than a treater and prefers to acquire his favorite candies to sate his massive sweet tooth in a more.... Unique way. That said his tail is not that big into tricking innocent bystanders for their candy loot and prefers to stay quiet and look anxious, who knows if derek sees that it's unhappy enough he might call it off... Psh probably not.

short story;
It was a foggy and rather chilling night to trick or treat, you would rather stay inside where it's warm and safe but the constant whining and jumping onto your lap made you finally get up and start to wander around town to get some candy for your "best friend". Looking over you could see said friend bounding along Merrily at your side.The demon,Derek looked over to you and grinned "that" smile and before you could even compute what was happening all you could see was a dust cloud that faintly resembled where your spoopie WAS standing. Sighing in defeat you turn around and truge back home with your hands shoved deep into your pockets, you don't even try to go look for the little hellion, you made that mistake last year and it ended up having you wander around town for the entire night. He would probably trot back home from his night of plundering the unsuspecting neighbors and trick or treaters for every candycorn or butterscotch to their name and stash it underneath your bed so that after you woke up the next morning he could give you a good scare. Rolling your eyes you finally step back into your living room and plop down on the couch, reaching to your side you pick up the stack of cards and pen you saved just for this occasion. Grumbling to yourself you begin to fill out various apology cards that you will no doubt have to give out the next morning to compensate for the damages and trauma your little beast caused,... you could faintly feel yourself smiling at the thought.
