Username - Saturn's Wish
Name - Chroma
Gender - female
Companion - Chroma's best friend and companion is a two-headed albino cobra named Luck. Due to a deformity at birth, Luck was born with two heads which separated two inches from the base of each head. Due to this deformity, Luck has trouble hunting, eating, and even moving as everywhere he goes he has another being with its own separate mind attached to him. When Chroma found the snake, he was laying on a rock, sun bathing. His glorious colors captivated her and she watched the mighty king for a while, only to be shocked to notice his deformity. Her heart reached out to the deadly serpent and she approached it. It took quite a while to convince him that she was trustworthy, and there were several moments where she was nearly bitten, but with time and patience the dual-headed serpent laid it's heads down and allowed her to pick it up. She carried it back to her den and set to work. She fed, watered, bathed, and cared for the weakened snake as though her were her own child. In time she discovered which head led to the stomach and which did not and began to centuralize her methods on the correct heads. Today, Luck is healthy and strong. He is approximately four and a half feet long and loves to rest on Chroma's shoulders or coil around her neck. The snake is quite the sight for others and often causes them to gasp or stare in shock, but Chroma and Luck remain unbothered and carry on with their days as though nothing is wrong.
Some think that Luck's name is a rather cruel form of irony. In all reality, the snake was living on luck in all things it did, the fact that the two heads hadn't bitten eachother was lucky enough. Chroma as found him to be her good luck charm, instead of the other way around. Chroma and Luck spend most of their time by water or in Chromas home. She is the only other creature that Luck has come to trust, and the snake is known to hiss or even snap at others who come too close. This causes Chroma to have few relationships with her own species, but she doesn't mind, she still has the company of her lovely companion.
Extra -
Chroma and Luck passed through the forest, cheerfully communicating to each other. Chroma bore a skip in her step as she carried her companion along the trail she had made. Luck rested his two heads on her shoulders, his long white body coiled around her neck. He gave off an aura of contentment and happiness. Ever since Chroma had found him, his life had improved greatly. Though his two heads often had disputes as to where or not to bite her or leave her be, she gradually convinced them that she was trust worthy, and with that their entire world changed. Now, food was no longer a struggle, moving was easy and efficient, and communication was at the strongest it had ever been.
Chroma paused in her journey and the two-headed cobra looked around her neck curiously. Chroma stood on the edge of a platform that overlooked a small valley. Trees were scattered about the pale grass and horses and cattle feasted on the grass in herds. Just beyond them, several great mountains stood firm, overlapping each other and growing a foggier color the further back they went. Finally, passed the mountains, the sun dipped down and released the brilliant colors of a sunset. The sky seemed to have exploded along the mountains, bearing red orange and purple stains between the brilliant gold and the gentle blue. They stayed there for a while, watching the last of the sun vanish over the peak. Luck couldn't help but smile at the feeling that rang within his chest.
