Describe what she looks like;; Kestrel reminds me of a Costa Rican Pygmy owl. The coloring is super similar and when I first saw her she had so much grace that I automatically assumed she was wise. Costa Rican Pygmy owls are rare to be seen anywhere else but costa Rica and I believe shes just as uncommon to see now.
Short Story;; As a baby Kestrel was left to fend for herself, she was a little baby and had a hard time adapting on being alone. She is always on a hunt to find a life long companion to travel the world with. During her yearling times, she traveled with many different people. Her favorite was a sorcerer who taught her to untie herself if she ever got caught in a deer trap. She enjoyed learning new materials and about new places. The sorcerer was very busy however and only spent a couple months with Kestrel but she still adores him and appreciates the wisdom he passed on to her.
Later that year is when I met her. I was training in fresh market on how to solder woven pieces. She was very interested in the tree of life pieces and I gave her a free one to add to one of her many strings. I made her so happy that she decided to stick around and eventually we grew to close to ever separate. Life long friend at last
She actually was based on a Carrot
The orange and stripes almost like a carrot but not quite, and the mane and tail being green but a darker shade, to be close enough to realistic.
effects in breeding wrote:Foals will get brindle or stripes, of a lighter shade than their base. Likely all foals will get this. There could be 1-2 foals that won't.
