while Hyacinth's appearance would make you think she loves winter and her name would make you believe she likes the spring, Hyacinth likes neither. Instead, she loves a summer storm.
Why? Summer storms are crazy, wild, unexpected like a rogue wave. One moment Hyacinth looks up to see a glaring sun and is wrapped in the humid air of summer, the next she feels a plop on her head. That little drop of water is the harbinger of something great: a storm.
After the innocent little plop, more will come. Soon the water is coming down in sheets, cold kisses on Hyacinth's wool. Droplets run down the windows, fill the gutters, splatter on the roofs, stain the sandy beach dark. Hyacinth will let out a crazy little laugh and smile so much that her face feels that it might crack, and soon she is all alone on the street. Hyacinth's forelock will droop in front of her eyes because they are so saturated with water. A smell will start to rise from the road that can only be the result of cool water connecting with hot asphalt. Hyacinth loves that smell as much as the smell of her girlfriend's perfume.
It's like a Broadway musical in Hyacinth's mind: the rain gets everyone focused on the show so that the audience is ready for the main event. Then it comes. The streak of lightning through the thick grey of the clouds. Hyacinth's grin spreads ever wider as she is blinded, and she starts counting. 1...2...3...4....BOOM!
A cacophony of thunder hits Hyacinth in the ears. She'll remain there for a while: whirling clouds, lightning to rip through them, thunder to keep Hyacinth on edge just as the lightning flashes fade, rain to bring it all together.
Eventually, when she is tired and weary, Hyacinth will leave the storm. She will go home, still thrilled at every yellow streak to rip the sky, and make herself some tea. Hyacinth will set up her tea, wring out her wet wool, and watch the storm from the balcony until the skies clear.

"I mean, I like all weather. But my favorite has to be.... Cyclones. I like the name. When we have one up here in dream land, all the Sheer go crazy. Its non destructive, so everyone swamps towards the fluffy spiral! Its quite funny. I enjoy watching from above, but there are some days I just jump in! The puffy Cyclones are nothing compared to real ones though.. My protected had to leave his home because of one.... and the damage made me cry. His house, car, everything was gone... the land was flattened to nothing and debris lay everywhere. I helped him get over it in his dreams, but I feel that bit of sorrow resting in the back of his mind.
Floria had her protected get caught in a Cyclone. They survived, but just barely. Floria was heartbroken. Well now there is a little garden out front that she tends to. Its in memory of her protected's possessions. I have seen her walk in their dreams, showing the small child the garden. After a while, she returned to the child's dreams.
Anyways, the fluffy Cyclones have to be a big favorite. A big plus, is the bright lighting. Flashes echo across the flossy clouds, and thunder rumbles through the plain. Me and my Sheer friends dont mind though! We like the stormy Cyclones better than anything! Huh? Oh I have to go! There is another Cyclone on the plain! Im being challenged to a race? Oh bad idea.. Bye!"
The blue Sheer runs of, leaping gracefully into the sky. She greets her friends, and after a few words, Whirlwind and another sheer spring off. Soon, only streaks of blue and silver wool can be seen as they fly ever faster in the wind.
