Reveur

The eyes of love are blind...

Lionesses Name; Reveur
Name Meaning; "Dreamer"- French
Gender; Female
Element; Dreams

Rank; Healer, due to her ability to transfer energy while the injured sleep as well as the the fact that she is blind, hindering her abilities as a scout
Character; Optimistic | Honest | Benevolent | Affectionate | Sentimental | Emotional | Hasty | Overwrought

About Reveur; The most prominent trait about this lioness is her blindness. Unlike most similar disabilities, hers does not hinder her every day life. Reveur has the ability to see energies belonging to her surroundings-- other lions, water, even a faint outline of the moon. These visual energies are seen like wisps of mist; they are pale white and show no detail of the body. Every lion to her simply looks like a blank slate. Because of this, she gets to know others by their spirits. She has no way to judge on physical appearances. However, this also means she cannot enjoy the simplest things in life like the sunset or the sight of a full moon. Instead, she finds all of her joy in the experiences of others and will often listen intently to their tales.

Reveur's Moveset;
Dream Catcher- Transfers her own energy to a sleeping warrior; they wake refreshed, wounds and illnesses heal faster
Apparition- Allows her to see the energy of her surroundings, like a misty blur
Heart Seeker- Senses the emotions of those asleep; lets her know what troubles her allies
Artificial Spirit- If in danger, can summon misty shadows to confuse the enemy; gives the illusion that they are surrounded

Story; pt. 1
He was angry with me. I thought the rest were on my side, but I was never more wrong in my life.
We were sent to do his bidding, and this particular mission demanded blood. Several nights ago, some of the other powerful lionesses and I formed a pact to stick together. I felt this mission was not only dangerous to our own lives, but definitely called for annihilating the lives of innocents. No, we cannot go along with this. They agreed, and we planned to rebel.
The storm cracked in the sky. Each flash of lightning a foreboding omen. Looking around, I saw no allies to fight with me against our king, consumed by the darkness. I closed my violet eyes and took a deep breath before entering his lair. Were the other lionesses already inside? Were they already fighting? I dashed with full speed to his quarters, only to be greeted by a smile of fangs...
I have been betrayed by my most loyal allies. And he knew it.
I said nothing, didn't breathe or take my eyes from him. As he approached me, I shook where I stood. I only resisted when he tensed and lunged at me, on top of my in an instant. I writhed under his body, under the blows of talons and fangs piercing my flesh. I thought this was the end when I saw a flash of red before everything went black.
---
I awoke in odd lands. At first, I thought my eyes were sealed shut, but I was able to open them only to be greeted by black. Panic weaved through my being as I stammered to my feet. I smelled other lions, strange lions, new lions all around me. I was surrounded. The war must be going on. My Master threw me in the middle of the battlefield, blind, to be torn apart by the enemy.
I screamed, summoning shadows all around me. I only hoped the ghosts would bid me enough time to escape, but they didn't. To my surprise, a gentle paw touched my shoulder. I jumped a mile high and turned to the being with fangs bared.
"You're safe now, Reveur. Are you hurt?"
What? "H-how do you know my name?! Where am I?" I shouted as loudly as I could. I desperately wanted answers. I felt so vulnerable.
"The other lionesses of your time already told us about you. They've been here over a year now, waiting for you. They were hoping you survived, but..."
He didn't finish his sentence. He didn't have to. Those traitors figured I was dead. I bowed my head in silence to the male, remaining quiet for a moment before it dawned on me-- "The others are here? Where?!"
---
I soon found out the reason I felt betrayed some 3,000 years ago. Apparently, many of my sisters as I called them tried to take on the Master without me to protect my life. I was moved by their stories of gruesome torture, being mauled to death by the evil alpha, I couldn't hold back the streams of tears running through the fur of my cheeks. All this time, I thought they had turned into my enemies. The last thing I thought was that some of them were only trying to fulfill the task to protect me.

Allegiance; Pride
Since awaking in the new land, Reveur felt the care she was given and the concern the others displayed for her health. She soon learned of a war between the Pride members and the Rebels. She also found that there were lionesses that shared her gift of the dream element already on the territory. Without hesitation, she swore to remain loyal to those who catered her back to health.
Little does the pride know that her allegiance, determined on that day, played a vital part of their turmoil.
