Sure that's fine, just don't go overboard by adding a ton of art. Or by writing a novel. Try to keep what you have for the character basically the same unless you just don't connect to parts of the character idea any more or something.
And yes, you can edit until the ninth, I'll post that its closed that day so you'll remember not to edit past that time.
