Sunclaw was born a Thunderclan kit, with promise of becoming a noble warrior. He was named Sunkit for his striking golden colours, that looked as if the sun had scorched his fur. He was honest and loyal, but he always seemed distant. He would space out in the middle of anything, from the simplest conversations to the most gruesome battles. He would suddenly stop what he was doing and just stare into the distance, unaware of everything. One day as an apprentice, he was in the middle of a battle, when exactly that happened, and the enemy warrior took a swipe at his leg. He got a scar from that, but also earned his warrior name, as he recovered quickly and scarred the enemies face.
When Flowerstar chose cats to come with her on the journey to rebuild Valleyclan, Sunclaw was an obvious choice. "
