Radiums are extremely tall canines ranging from 8ft to 9ft in height. They live in all different types of forests, some tropical and some dark. Radiums can be identified for their slight glow. The darker their habitat is, the more the Radium glows. The feathers on their legs work as feelers to navigate through the forest. Their tails are used to scare off predators, and their tails come in even numbers. Radiums are well known for adapting to their surroundings. Because of this, Radiums are quite confident around other animals and, although they have little to no contact, they get along with humans too.

Skippy always had a thing for flowers. Since he didn't have a garden of his own, he spent his time making paper flowers. He delicately crafted these to add a sort of brightness to his life.

Skippy decided that if he couldn't have a real garden, he'd craft a paper garden in his room to brighten up the drably decorated place. Days and days of folding and cutting colored paper payed off, and he had transformed a blank and virtually empty room to a flowering paper garden.

Papery plants and flowers hung from the ceiling, vines stretched across the walls, plants sprouted from the ground, flowers blossomed on nightstands, drawers, and bedposts. Standing back, Skip appreciated his artwork. He snapped a picture of it to remember it forever.

He plucked some small ferns and cream paper roses and wove them into his hair, almost like a crown. Proud of his what he had created, he decided to go and treat himself to an ice cream and probably take a stroll in the park, to admire the scenery.

Skippy realized that if you work hard towards something, that hard work truly does pay off, and in the most wonderful ways.

why is he angry?:

Upon returning home, Skippy had found all his work ruined. Scattered over the floor was ripped paper, fallen flowers, no longer as bright as Skippy remembered they were. He picked up a paper hibiscus and set it in his hair, sniffling. This was the doing of someone most vile, none other than his elder brother. Jealously had driven him to destroy Skippy's creation. Skip was outraged!

He snuck into his own brother's room, neatly organized, and decided to make a mess of it. Oh, sweet revenge! He dumped all of his dirty clothes across the floor, all of his trophies were scattered and so were books and papers. Once he was finished he set off to reconstruct what had been damaged. Oh how angry had he been! Nobody could destroy something he had spent so much time on and get away with it!

a big mistake:

Him breaking into his brother's room and completely trashing the place was a mistake. He was sent outside in the dripping rain with nothing to cover him, nothing but his paper flowers and ferns. Skippy sat on the curb and sighed. All this work for nothing? That can't be.

He took off the hibiscus in his hair and set it in a rather large rain puddle, watching the bright red hues be dampened and dulled by the falling raindrops. Skip had forgotten what his mother always told him: only because someone does something to you does not justify you doing something just as bad to them. Forgive and forget, and in the future, better things will come to you.

He had made a mistake.

Foggy air. Darting water, falling from the gray sky. The soft smell of rain. Chilled air, accompanied by the occasional wind. Beautiful in it’s own sense, but an inconvenience too large to stop and appreciate the storm.

Juniper was walking home, a frown prominently displayed on her face. At this point in time, every bit of her felt warm, her skin heated to a comfortable degree. Rays of light beat down, illuminating the earth with unusual intensity. Traces of cloud remained above, but they were white and wispy, rather than dark and heavy. The air still tasted like wet nature- a flavor too odd to properly describe. The storm had passed, but not soon enough.

In the midst of the night, lightning struck. The shadowy world lit up, if only for a second. And, in that second, the power had gone out. This only affected Juniper when she awoke- or rather, when she didn’t. Her alarm reset once the power flicked back on, and when it came time to get out of bed, Juniper soundly slept away. She was given another chance though, sort of, when there was a boom so loud that she couldn’t help but sit up faster than ever before. Thunder. Thunder, warning her that she would be late to class if she didn’t hurry.

In a frenzied panic she began rushing about, doing as much as she could in as little time as possible. She looked under the bed. She looked in the closet. She looked behind the couch, and even atop the fridge. Her umbrella was nowhere to be found, and with so little time left she decided she’d have to live without it.

Fifteen minutes later she burst through the school doors, her body soaked to the bone. During her fast paced march to her classroom, she did what she could to dry off- which mostly included wringing herself out and wildly shaking her head so often in the hopes that the drops of water at the ends of her hair would fly off.

Upon finally making it to class, Juniper was promptly sent to the restroom in order to make herself slightly more presentable. Perhaps it would have been nice to earlier realize that she never changed out of her pajama pants... but in all honestly she didn’t care if this earned her any strange looks or confused comments. She was late. So much effort, and she was late.

Hours later, the radium was still angry. People had steered away from her all day, afraid that she might boil over. Her dark aura was practically visible. Angry PJ girl. Juniper was pretty sure that’s the nickname that’d been floating around. Even she had to admit it was somewhat amusing- though not if it continued, just to remind her each day of her pointless struggle.

A soft laugh sounded. Juniper pulled her head up, startled. She paused, her movement coming to a sudden stop. After glancing in every possible direction, she came to an unlikely confusion; She’d laughed. She’d giggled even, at her own misfortune at that. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Honestly, what a horrible day. She laughed again, her merriment somewhat uncharacteristic.

Hopefully, tomorrow would be better.

Juniper is a quiet individual, though this is an odd trait considering how much she has to say. She prefers to keep to herself, for the simple fact that she dislikes drawing attention to herself- and more often than not, the things she says will lead to some sort of argumentative discussion that she has no interest partaking in. This is because Juniper has very strong opinions and sometimes can’t help but to share them. While she’s not too stubborn, per say, she does have a habit of believing that she’s entirely correct, and therefore she typically isn’t willing to hear what someone else has to say, if it doesn’t agree with her.

All grumpy and antisocial traits set aside, this radium is one of grace and creativity. Her movements are swift and her posture tall; This only changes if she happens to be angry, in which case she might be found stomping around. She’s a girl for the crafts, as she enjoys drawing as well as painting- it comes as no surprise to anyone that she’s an art major in college (as much as she’s been warned against this). In addition to this, she actually has a soft spot for fashion and, despite not really being one for designing such things, she does appreciate the craft.

Socially speaking, Juniper has already been said to not be a real people person. She’s easily made annoyed by a variety of things ranging from overly hyper people to slow talking and even simply someone who walks just a tad bit too loudly. Besides this, it could also be said her social skills are simply lacking. She finds herself doing or saying things that might be considered rude; For example, she’ll reach over and take someone’s pencil while it’s being unused (though she eventually returns these things), or she might ignore a person who sneezed rather than taking a half second to say “thank you”. But don’t let this fool you; Juniper’s snarky and sarcastic attitude has won her over some people, and if someone can manage to befriend her, they’ll likely find her philosophical observations interesting and her occasionally irritated behavior amusing.

ok this was rrreally hard to judge but i finally came ot the conclussion that cheezi is the winner ! the story was very well written and it made me very interested in the character, it was very touching and sent me through,, lots of emotions : ' ) if you want them to be moved to the new lines please submit a form here!
