They consume everything from meats and veggies to sounds and sights. They are faster, smarter, and generally cooler than your average Joe.

She loves this gem for one reason: it matches the color of her eyes. When she saw this gem, and noticed it was the same color as her eyes, she fell in love with it, and always collected them, when she found one while exploring. She would always bring back any of the gem, she found, to her den and store them in a small spot in a tiny hole of her den in the back.

Explanation:
They mocked Marble.

They all said that she was just another misfit among the millions of
other species on this universe. She was an unwanted fool made of herself.
They said that she wasn't beautiful because of her markings. Her markings
weren't like the others. She wasn't colorful at all. She wasn't like the others.
The thoughts got to her head. Marble looked at herself and mumbled,
"What am I? Why do I look like this? Why do I have to feel unwanted?"

Marble fell into a deep trance of hating herself and disliking how she looked.
She didn't want this. She didn't like it. She hated how she felt about herself.
Sulking, head down, and weeping, she returned home from her awful experience.
She knocked at her mother's door and her mother opened it. She greeted her
child with a happy smile that soon turned to anguish. Marble hugged her mother
and started choking out her words, sobbing in between talking. Her mother listened
to her every word. Marble finished talking and refused to let go of her mother.
Marble's mother shook her head and took her inside. Wiping her tears, Marble
nodded and went inside. She flopped down on the couch and curled up
in fetal position.

Her mother sat next to her with a rectangular box. It had a wonderful golden
design on the front, and numerous gemstones were glued to the front of it.
Marble thought it looked like a treasure chest. Her mother set it next to
her child and urged her to open it. Marble hesitantly opened it, and inside
was a gemstone, sitting upon a velvety cushion on the bottom.
Not just any gemstone, though. It was a Peruvian blue opal tied to a
long black leather string. It shone like the morning skies and seemed to glow.
Marble looked at her mother, confused. Her mother simply gave a good chuckle,
and explained.
"This opal is to remind you that you are beautiful. You are beautiful,
no matter what your misfits are. This opal represents your personality.
You are bright. Lighthearted. And very beautiful."

"Is this for me?" Marble whimpered. "Yes dear. It is for you. Put it on."
Marble put it on without hesitating and smiled ear to ear.

The day after that, she reminded herself that she was beautiful.
She was bright and lighthearted. And best of all, she didn't care about
what others had to say about her appearance.

Explanation: Lodolite is often called scenic or landscape quartz, and for good reason. The gemstone typically displays its colors like sand in an hourglass; the fine grains are encased in clear crystal that give the impression of otherworldly deserts and reefs. The exotic appearance of Lodolite has always entranced Guinevere, reminding her of the only places she cannot reach with her astounding speed: the depths of the ocean; and the vast universe above. The dragon adores exploration and the acquisition of knowledge more than anything, so the unknown enthralls her. What unique creatures teem beneath the tossing waves? What life could possibly thrive outside the comfort of the little blue planet? Maybe the mysterious patterns of lodolite could lend her a clue. Thus, until she can touch the floor of the ocean and investigate the vast expanse of space for herself, Guinevere will rely on her imagination; and she will sate her desire for adventure by holding a crystal taste of the unknown in her palm.

Explanation: Audra has always been fascinated by gemstones, and even has a collection of some of the less rare ones as well as the many interesting rocks that she has found. Her favorite, though, has to be a Musgravite. There's not a lot of information about it to research which gives it a mysterious aura. It was also first discovered in one of her favorite places in the world, Australia. She loves the variety of color that a single gem can hold and the way the light falls through the facets. Since it's so rare, she probably won't ever own one, but that's alright with her as long as she can admire them from afar.

Explanation: When Colt was a child he used to spend hours staring at the sky. It fascinated him endlessly, and his greatest wish was to be able to touch it with his own paws. Until one day he finally worked up his courage enough to try. He ran as fast as he possibly could and leaped for it.- Obviously, he didn't make it. He came crashing down into a ditch, luckily unhurt besides a few bruises. While he was laying there, scolding himself for being so ridiculously foolish, he noticed a flash of bright blue near his paws. It was a stone that glittered with bending light, just like the heavens above. He's held onto that gem ever since. Rock or not, to him, it'll always be the little piece of sky he managed to capture and call his own.

There was once a small bullet dragon.
Her name was Pearl. She didn't like her name.
And became Stone.

Pearl was born in June.
June 13th in fact.
On a Friday morning.
Not only was she constantly teased
by other bullets who called her
the unlucky horseshoe, her
name was just ironic. The gemstone for
June is pearl... and her name is Pearl.
However, she noticed something else.
There was another stone for June.
The Moonstone. In a longing for a
different name, Pearl set off to prove
the other bullets wrong. She wasn't
a screw up. She wasn't an unlucky
horseshoe (or a horseshoe at all)!
She was in fact as though a stone.
Once she returned to her hometown,
she kept the name of Stone rather than Pearl.
She wasn't girly like her old name had
expressed. She was a hardy outdoors woman.
And her skull?
Hard as a rock (that stubborn little bullet!)
