So he will hide amongst the trees and wait patiently, just to let the fireflies unintentionally fly by and yell, "You caught me!" (whilst scaring most of the fireflies away)

And since his coat lets him blend in perfect, silly Ialu climbs the trees nearby and sleeps in them with the fireflies. But as soon as he's asleep he usually loses his grip and falls off the branch he was perched on scaring all the fireflies away until tomorrow!

He always did this to come and watch the fireflies, since they reminded him of when he was younger - always watching the stars and fireflies on a beautiful night, which usually happened to be on Saturdays. It acts like an escape from reality for at least a little bit - it's a serene environment, quiet, peaceful.
