The fuchsia flower blooms upside down and Hana thinks they look like little fairies in their dresses. When she was little she would stand under a hanging basket of fuchsia and imagine that the blooms where her fairy friends dancing around her head.

Jade Vine

The Jade Vine is Lapiz's favorite flower because it remembers them of their own tail. Even being one of the rarest flowers in the world, Lapiz dreams going to Philippines to see a jade vine with their own eyes.
This is not everything, though.
Lapiz suffers from synesthesia. It's a rare mental illnes that makes one swap the five senses. For example: whenever they hear a song, they see a color. So, lapiz can see the image of the Jade vines whenever she sees the color blue anywhere. That makes her always think about them.

Flower: Darcy really likes the flower Angel's Trumpet, also known as Brugmansia, a type of nightshade. (Not all nightshade is bad- potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers are all kinds of nightshade, too!) Not only is it gorgeous, but just smelling it is hazardes to your health. It is used in many gardens, even though it's dangerous! Darcy wants to imitate that deadly beauty in herself, as she sees the Angel's Trumpet as the perfect balance between the two.

Angel trumpets (Brugmansia spp.) add exotic beauty to sunny garden beds with their pendulous, trumpet-shaped flowers and dense foliage. Their beauty and resilience belies the extreme toxicity of their flowers and leaves, which can cause serious illness and death if consumed. Angel trumpets are still widely grown within U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 9 to 11 despite the risks they pose. Angel trumpet flowers emit a subtly sweet fragrance at night.
