the seeker neslted into the tree branch he was observing from. he
was in no rush to do anything at the time being now- he didnt w-
ant to waste his energy flapping about if he wasnt going to even
find any food in the barren land. afterall, he did find a meal the
other day already. cliff scoffed and gave a raspy hoot- his voice
was weak, but at least there was some process with it- the seeker
was somewhat relieved. what he was preparing for? he wasnt re-
ally sure. maybe for a new seeker? no... none should near him...

cliff has earned the nickname dragons
maw because living alone fares hard
and stressful on a lone seeker so any
thing and everything he finds- he'll
catch and eats it all, like a dragon.
alongside that he does enjoy hording

Rin, a peacekeeper. Rin, the faithful, the passonite, the smarter, wiser. These titles mean nothing. These titles are nothing to Rin. All Rin wants is a simple life, one where she is not constantly pressured by society to be something she isnt. And Rin will do whatever she can to escape.

My feathers ruffled slightly as I took off for flight, leaping off of the weak and brown tree branch with a single breath before soaring into the air. As I scanned the area, I noticed a large feathery creature sprawled far on the ground. An owl. I landed next to the owl, curios if it was still alive. It seemed limp. But there was a bigger picture. As I took my eyes off of the dead owl, I saw more. A colony. And their blood spelt out a name.

Personality

Ragno's fairly soft-spoken.

He's an owl, so of course silence has been embedded into his very lifestyle since he was barely a fledgling,
but even the quietest of fliers enjoys a bit of conversation here and there. Ragno, however, wishes to
keep to himself for the most part as yet another silent flier of the night. He's not too well versed in small-
talk, though, so his words can seem clipped at times because you'd expect him to elaborate on what he says
but rarely does. Ragno's not all too approachable either since his resting expression seems so severe at
times that other seekers don't really bother to give him the time of day. He seems to be constantly glaring.
He honestly just doesn't want to admit to his slightly poor eyesight. The difference might not seem terribly
substantial to other creatures, but for an owl like him, sight is crucial and his mild myopia is a sore spot.

His actions can also seem stilted at times since his mannerisms are so unpredictable. He's a predator, so
morbid curiosity has always been something inherent to him, but he's always trying to shake himself of it.
He can be playing with his food one minute and then sheepishly eating it the next and feeling just a tad guilty
for enjoying his meal. He's not very partial to his brutal nature, but he tries to retain some decorum when
hunting, even when the owlet in him wants to bat around a defenseless chipmunk or sugar glider. His status
as a star seeker fills him with great pride- he wishes to represent his kind as graceful yet mindful killers, not
simply cat-like birds. He usually tries to express this through his own intelligence. He's grateful for the amazing
teaching that's been bestowed upon him by his parents, so his expertise lies in his accuracy in the skies and in
the low light despite his myopia.

He's honestly a sweet owl once you bother to approach him, however. He likes to be mindful of his friend's
feelings and nuances to attempt to make them as comfortable as possible around him. He's not always suc-
cessful, but he remains a diligent friend with the fact that he tries in the first place. He's a bit of a meta-
phorical empath as well, so the feelings of his friends and other seekers around him affects him more than
he lets on. He's the type of owl to burrow his head between his shoulders along with you when you're the one
who's feeling a little down. He's also just a tad sensitive to the chemicals let off by stress and anxiety, so he
tries his best to act as a sort of mediator in his circle of friends.

Ragno actually has the oddest little friend that he sees as a sister and confidant. Her name is F-42 and
she's simply a store-raised "fancy rat" as humans call it who had the misfortune to get lost out
in the woods. They met by a chance encounter as well. Ragno was ready to make F-42 his next
meal before he identified her to be a rat.

Ragno was actually saved by a lab-raised rat when he was a fledgling who died in the process,
so in the rat's honor he swore an oath to never hunt rats. So, essentially, the only thing that
saved F-42 that day was Ragno's own resolve. Even today he still can't help but get amused,
but F-42 begs to differ. He was surprised at how hardy she was, since he fully expected her
heart to give out from being that close to a predator. He admired her pluckiness. After that
first encounter, they kept running into each other before he finally saved her from an attack
by another seeker and just decided to keep her in his care in order to ensure her safety. What
can he say? The little rodent grew on him.
