Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Custom curled tail - Perked ears - Fuzzy lip - Shorter - Thicker limbs - Short feathering - Custom harness - Custom collar - Snip facial markings
Group - Hound - Portuguese Podengo Pequeno

Name: Denny
Gender: Vixen
Age: Young adult
Sexuality: Asexual (bisexual)

Personality: Denny is a skittish and feral young vixen. She has a tendency to become close to others very quickly,
and often regards this as a bad thing due to past situations. As soon as she feels herself starting to love someone,
she moves on: she no longer trusts as easily as most and doesn't want herself to get to attached to someone who
might hurt or be hurt by her. She's a tough survivalist who will do whatever it takes to stay alive, no matter what.
She's not one to give up on a task and has a strong work ethic, and is thus skilled at many things.

History: Back home, Denny basically got her life messed up so bad that she decided to run as far away as possible
and cut off all ties to those back home. She had been damaged beyond repair and was too ashamed of how hurt
she had let herself be that she could no longer look her friends in the eyes. She's done quite well on this journey
of running away and often meets other foxes, though she keeps conversation light and as soon as some element
of her past is discovered or she starts growing fond of someone, she leaves. That's why she's on this journey -
to find somewhere new to go and start over with a completely new life.

If you haven't finished your introduction yet, you can just ignore this until you're ready ;v;

Checkpoint 1 --

You waste no time in gathering up the supplies you've prepared and setting off down the worn trail found at the edge of camp. The sun hasn't fully risen yet, light barely crossing the sky, but you've got a long journey ahead of you and no intention on wasting time. Even though it's early, a few other foxes walk the path with you. As the day wears on, you find it was a good thing you woke early - this road is much longer than you imagined! Finally, though, you notice something up ahead. The trail you're traveling on splits, heading left and right respectively. Peering down each pathway, you can see no significant difference between the two. Both of them creep into the mountains, eventually swallowed by heavy trees. The most obvious difference you can see is that the path to the right is somewhat lighter, mountains angled in such a way that allows more morning light into the space between them.

Will you...
Go left? [x]
Or right? []

Go left? [x]

Pausing at the fork, the small fox considered her options. Without any clear differences between the two paths, she would have to decide based on the amount of light only. Denny thought for a moment, and finally chose the left path. Who needed light anyway?

You got 7 gems for completing the last checkpoint!

Checkpoint 2 --

You veer to the left, shade cooling your pelt, but not unpleasantly so. Things only get dimmer as you enter the cover of the trees. Maybe it's just you, but you're pretty sure the canopy isn't the only thing casting shadow. Glancing upwards, you see only green. Still going somewhat the right direction, but somewhat distracted, you wander around the wide trunks, searching for a gap in the leaves. Eventually, you find one and look up to see the sky has turned an angry gray. On cue, there's a crack of thunder and lightning flickers across the heavy clouds. Wind stirs the branches and large raindrops start to fall. Before you really have time to think about it, you find your pelt already soaked through! The trees, now swaying in the sudden storm, offer you no shelter. You have little choice other than to run along the path, paws skidding in the mud.

Protect yourself with a cloak []
Get the sniffles/a common cold [x]
- This adds 10 words to your minimum

After a while of slipping and sliding, you find that you've left the cover of the trees. You almost continue to bolt down the main road, but something catches your eye. Through the sheets of rain, you can see a thin, scraggly path meandering off the main trail. Where could it lead, you wonder...?

Will you...
Take the trail? [x]
Or continue on the main path? []

Despite her obviously runny nose, Denny still pushed on with her journey. After all, this was a new and exciting place! (Actually, she just told herself this to try and make herself feel better. She was wet and miserable.) As she slowly walked onward, a small path caught her eye - interesting! Where did it lead? Without any hesitation, Denny turns and decides to take the trail.

You got 9 gems for completing the last checkpoint!

Side Trail --

The thin trail wound itself around many jutting rocks and twisted trees until you could no longer see back to where you came from. Tall cliffs rose up on either side of you, which blocked out the wind and some of the rain. After a while, the path began to show signs of age. Untamed blackberry bushes and thistles sprawled about, forcing you to tip-toe along to avoid getting pricked. You pace slowed to a crawl, but you soldiered on. In the end, though, it was all in vain. A giant piece of rock sat firmly in your way with no clear place to go around unless you suddenly grew wings.

Looks like you'll have to...
Go back to the main road and continue on [x]
