Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

After weeks of preparation and anticipation, the time has come to begin your journey! You gather your needed supplies and head out at early in the morning. You notice other foxes staying behind saying their goodbyes to friends, buying items from a rather grumpy looking fox, while other sprint ahead of you to get to the first checkpoint as quickly as possible. You pay no mind to them, each have their own plans in mind for the trip.

The day is sunny and pleasant, and time seems to fly as you reach the first checkpoint. When you reach the checkpoint you notice the trail splits. Both seem to be rather mountainous with thick forest ahead and both trails have equal opportunities. The sun is setting fast and the smell of rain is in the air, bad weather is on the way for the next checkpoint. Make camp, and choose your path in the morning. It will take you all day and arrive at the next checkpoint sometime in the middle of the night.

Shering allowed himself to sink down to the grass and yawned intensively. It was a day like straight out of a fairytale ,with perfect weather and a soft breeze ,and nothing filled the hound-colored fox with more satisfaction than a long day on his own ,surrounded by the wild...it was a peaceful sort of tired.but even though the sun was warming his pelt ,the earth already smelled like the distant rain-a smell that promised a wet night and probably some free showers during the next day too.it doesn't mattered for him ,he always thought travelling during nasty weather had a certain charme of its own. But still ,waking up soaked in water wasnt his thing ,and so he made himself a bed in the moss under a massive pine tree . *enough for today ...* he murmured and closed his eyes as the rustling leaves around him sung him into sleep . before finally wandering of into dreamland ,he suddenly decided that he would head for the

Checkpoint Two:

You have reached the second checkpoint in the middle of the night. As you arrived thunder could be heard in the distance and it slowly begins to rain. But your slow drizzle quick turns to a heavy downpour that seems to have no end. Thunder and lightning pound around the area and the temperature is turning cold. Illuminated only by a few lightning flashes you see a small path that splits from the main trail. You can explore it and see where it leads, but you have no idea what maybe at the end.

"aaaaaah-chuu!" a mighty sneeze shook the todd´s body ,closely followed by a second. Shering shook his head to get rid of the tickling in his nose and effordly tried to puff his already soaking wet fur up . "well, i assume it was just the right time to go on a journey again,your condition turned shamefully low during the months of living in this comfortable denof mine...look at you, the first thunderstorm and you alredy caught the sniffles!" he lectured himself in slight amusement and continued his way through the puring rain. a sudden crack of lightning illuminated his way,and he noticed a smaller sidepath leading away from the main trail. for a second,the tree-sheltered path seemed like a good option,especially due to beeing not that open for the weather,and there was also the possibility to find a faster shortcut to the checkpoint,but then he shook this idea of in determination "no,you´ve had enough of cheating old chap. you decidet to take this journey,and you will do it as its done right,no matter the weather." he muttered . had it been for shere curiousity,he´d probably allowed himself to take the sidepath,but not for the hope of making things easier than they where ment to be. and so the hound-ish fox choosed to...
