Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Personality:
Selectively mute, Cooper isn't a fox of many sounds or words. Despite that, he is a very affectionate and friendly little fella. Adventurous, he likes to stick his nose into things- sometimes, things that are best to be left alone. He doesn't respond well to pressure and gets over excited, often ending up breaking something unintentionally. He is a sucker for anything sweet and juicy and will do as much as possible to be able to earn affection and praise from other foxes. If he ever gets lost, don't assume he will be upset. He won't, usually. He loves any excuse to explore! He also has determination like a lion. If he is set to do something, he will do it and will stop at nothing. He will also defend however he can, although he isn't the most physically gifted fox around.

Sweet things, pine trees, exploring, fetching things for others, food, entertaining himself with inanimate objects.

Dislikes:
being forced to speak, being ignored, others being sad, sour things.

Checkpoint 1

After giving farewells to the other foxes around you, you set off along the marked path, making sure everything is set and you've forgotten nothing before you've gone too far to walk back. You begin to wonder if any adventure lies ahead, and if you would run into anyone else or not.

After a while of walking, you soon come to a stand-still, stopping as the path splits into two. You gaze at each, before taking a step back...it would be best to think about it...which will you take, left or right?

Cooper stepped back once and sat down on his rump, tail lightly swishing across the ground. His gaze flicked to the right side of the path. You could see the gears turning in his head as he struggled to think about which way would be best, before he swept his gaze to the left side. Something about that side felt...more correct to him. He wasn't sure what, but his thoughts began to quickly lean closer towards that one.

After another moment of brooding, the fox sprung back up to his feet and trotted confidently in that direction of the trail.

Checkpoint 2

After deciding to take the left path, you were on your way again, alert for any dangers about. You placed your pays carefully, and travelled for a while, eventually heading into colder territory, the cold wind clinging to your fur.

You soon reached the second checkpoint, trying your best to ignore the rough winds...well, now you were at another fork in the path. Hmm...should you take this newly found path, or continue on?

Watching yet another fork in the path, Cooper felt his nose tickle and he suddenly sneezed. He sniffled and watched each side with a bit of uncertainty. Which way now? He almost hoped that, whichever way he chose, he didn't have to go somewhere colder. That wouldn't be fun. After another moment's hesitation, Cooper didn't let the cold he started to feel get to him the best he could and he more lazily strode along down the newly found path rather than the main one.

So you take off down the path, unsure of where it may lead...it even looks a little deserted, but you fought off that feeling to continue - only for your suspicion to be right. It ended as a dead end, and having wasted enough time, you turn around and try to make your way...guess all you could do was take the main path.

But you were almost left astounded when you eventually came to another fork in the path...how many where there around here? You carefully looked at the side path, then the main path. Your gaze flickered, you had to consider the choices...which would you choose?

[size=85]Cooper was rather disappointed that he reached a dead end.Turning around, he started back where he came from with a bit more of curiosity of where the main path would take him. Astonishment flooded over him when, once again, he reached another checkpoint.

However, this time, Cooper didn't hesitate. He ignored the new side path and strolled on down towards the next place he could end up.[/size]

After deciding you would much rather not waste more time with another side path, you continue on your way, wishing to reach camp quickly - it was surely due to be dark soon enough, and they you would have no clue how to get through!

There seemed to be no forks in the road this time, much to your short-lived belief...but as you came to reach the next checkpoint, a scent flooded over you...making a shiver crawl down your back, your ears now alert. It was only then when a very unhappy growl sounded from the bushes to your side, and you took yourself into a defensive stance...hoping to not come off as aggressive. But as the creature didn't seem to back down, you had only two choices...it came down to your fight or flee instinct, which would take over.

The sound of an unhappy animal growling caught Cooper's attention. At first, fear tore through hsi heart and his eyes widened. Glancing around, his soft, but focused brown eyes searched for the source. Upon realizing it was in the bushes next to him, Cooper stood in a defensive position and his eyes widened. The fur along his spine raised and his tail curled slightly, hoping they would leave.

However, they weren't going to. Cooper bared his teeth for a moment and snarled, but then felt the adrenaline in his body screaming at him to run. And so, he fled.
