What They Wish To Protect: When Hester was little, she always wanted to be an astronomer. She'd go outside to look up at the sky, only to find that she could see only a couple of lone stars, scattered across the darkness. She'd point excitedly at some new star to find out that it was just a helicopter. As a little girl she asked her mother why the pictures of the galaxy in her big astronomy book looked so different from what she could see outside. This is what her mother said:

"You see, sweetie, long ago, stars were used to navigate and even became the basis for many myths. Stars were important. Now, we use electric lights that have replaced stars. This is good because we can light up our houses at night and we don't have to live in darkness. However, all this light washes out the stars and you can't see them in some places".

Ever since then, Hester's wanted to protect the stars. She's traveled out to deserts and tundras to see the beautiful sight of a starry sky, but she knows lots of people can't do that. She wants everyone to be able to the stars in all their glory.

Since Artemis was just a little plumie, she always heard people talking about 'Global Warming' and rhino's to the point where they are very few left... She wanted to help the Earth. She was too young to understand it all, she just wanted to help those in need, well, really everything in need.

One day, Artemis was gathering her items to live in her new apartment, when she came across something. It seemed to be written by her from second grade.

Entry 332, August 10th

Hopes. What are we without them? Those simple dream that guide us through our lives. We cling to them, basking ourselves in their warm glow, pleading them to transform into the bonfire of reality, but it is not uncommon for them to be smothered by the lurking shadows nearby.
I met a creature the other day. It was depressed, walking with its feet dragging and its mouth opened slightly in exhaustion. It's eyes were hollow and half closed and, though it could, it did not bother to see. The creature stumbled along silently, occasionally running into a few things. I watched as it passed me in silence. I desired to speak, but something forced silence upon me. The creature had no hope, and thus it had no purpose.
Without hope, we have nothing. The purpose in out lives is suddenly reduced to nothing more than repopulation, if that's even a possibility. Hope is vital to life, and that is why I yearn to protect it. I wish to help hope blossom, to grow and devour the darkness of dispair that surrounds it. Because without hope, what are we but dead leaves drifting in the wind.

Zelda wishes to protect all sea life, She was born on the Hawaiian island,
Maui from two Plumerians that were imported there.
Ever since birth, Zelda was obsessed with fish and sea life.
She got her first betta fish at the age of four,
naming him Ikaika which means strength in Hawaiian.
She was happily donating all her money she found in secret to sea life research.
At a very early age she knew when she grew up she wanted to become a marine biologist,
even if she was a plumerian. Zelda found her way into human schools
and started to learn all about marine biology.
Went Zelda learned enough, she started to travel around the world,
hopping on ships and planes and hiding in plain site.
Zelda ended up living in Alaska after her travels.
She is currently still studying marine biology and
helping out with Alaska's marine life,
studying them and donating when she can't get out there and help out.

What They Wish To Protect;; Tarakona has dragon-like tendencies and one of them is to hoard things... But she has quite the unusual collection. Tara hoards dragons; both fake and real. She lives in a cave just absolutely filled with dragons of all shape, size and color. So what does she wish to protect? Dragons. She wishes to protect these misunderstood creatures from fairy tale knights, other monsters, and the anxious eyes of others who would surely kill them if they knew dragons existed. They are her life blood and love, and Tara would give up her last remaining breath making sure these majestic beasts are to never become extinct.

Despite being a rather quite, cold and not too caring of others there is one exception.
His beloved pet bird Luna, she's his only best friend in the world and seems to understand him. Luna is a Eurasian magpie, A very intelligent bird witch is not normally a pet but Erebus found this little one on the ground all along and he just couldn't leave her alone to starve. And ever since that day the two have been by each others side..
