Welcome to Animal Ark!
Animal Ark is an animal shelter. We rescue animals of all species, from dogs and cats to horses and rats, and rehabilitate and care for them until they are ready to find a new home. Some of the animals here were given up because their previous owners could no longer care for them, others were abandoned or found roaming all alone. Some were seized due to neglect. And some... are a bit unusual, not your typical moggy or mutt. But regardless of how they ended up here, they are all in need of a fresh new start. Can you help?

"This adult Scarlet Macaw was brought in after their elderly owner passed away. Unfortunately this pretty birdie had to have it's left foot amputated when it was still young after sustaining a flying injury but has since adapted very well to use using their right foot and beak to maneuver around the aviary. They're very friendly and cheery, often singing songs or whistling to the staff. Unfortunately we don't know their sex... maybe you do?"
