Welcome to Animal Ark!
Animal Ark is an animal shelter. We rescue animals of all species, from dogs and cats to horses and rats, and rehabilitate and care for them until they are ready to find a new home. Some of the animals here were given up because their previous owners could no longer care for them, others were abandoned or found roaming all alone. Some were seized due to neglect. And some... are a bit unusual, not your typical moggy or mutt. But regardless of how they ended up here, they are all in need of a fresh new start. Can you help?

"This little filly was born to a nurse-mare, but was simply discarded so that her mother could nurse a more expensive foal and as a result she became severely dehydrated and weak. Once we finally managed to get to her at two months of age we began hand-rearing her to try and get her on the mend. Now five months later and she's weaned and finally fit and healthy enough to find a new home! We reckon she'll make a fine mount one day - unfortunately we have no idea of her breed though judging by her shape we believe she may be some sort of small cob."
