Personality: dixon is a very strong stallion - both physically and emotionally. he is generally very rational and level-headed, making him a respectable leader but he can be volatile; quick to lose his temper in tight situations so he functions best with a right-hand-man to keep his hooves on the ground. being a leader wouldn't be something he would want for himself but often he finds himself thrust into that role by those around him who believe he'd be best suited for the role. he acts distant of the time, taking good care of his herd and making sure that everything is in order, but never really getting overly involved with everyone. they all know that he cares and would go to great lengths to protect them all but he doesn't want his feelings getting in the way of his decision making. he'll prove that he's selfless any day and any time - throwing himself in the face of danger to protect the innocent. he values loyalty, respect and honesty - he hardly ever lies himself and tends to look down on people who do. sometimes the truth hurts, but in his eyes it's best just to get it out of the way and move on. very rarely does this boy let his vulnerable side come out, especially in front of others. it's not that he's afraid of looking weak, rather he doesn't want to burden the others of his herd with his problems. he worries that they will just fuss over him and try to fix him but he'd much rather handle it on his own. not exactly the healthiest method for dealing with feelings but he has never known anything else. he gets very upset sometimes for no reason at all, perhaps because he's feeling like he let someone down or something bad has happened and he's blaming himself - yet he'll never make it known. if he's going to get all emotional about it he makes sure to wait until he's on his own. though he has no family as of now, he's fiercely protective over his family. anyone who puts their faith in him to keep them safe is his top priority and he will make sure they remain safe or he'll die trying to protect them.
