I wasn't exactly sure when I intended to age Miles, but his story was progressing much more quickly than any of my other beans' stories have, so I figured it was time. Hopefully this arc of his life will slow down a bit and I won't have to age him to an adult for awhile!
I also added a tiny tuft / mohawk thing, since I've seen it done before and it's a lot easier for me to draw a furrier head than a smooth one. It's a lot smaller than most permitted tufts, so I think it's alright, but if there's an issue please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll remove it as soon as possible.
Miles child, how can you already be so big! I remember writing about your egg, designing our your concept, staying up late at night hashing out your concept until it was as smooth as possible... You're such a sweet little kid, and I can't wait to explore your teen years with you - I'm sure that they have a lot in store, my lovely little nerd child.

So, how has this NASA-aimed kiddo changed? Has he gotten even smarter?
As Miles makes the leap from elementary to middle school, a lot is changing in his life, and he's learning how to cope. He's become less introverted and is trying to force himself to be more outspoken overall. He's gotten a lot more verbal about his feelings and emotions overall and finds it easier to talk to others. His habits of singing and humming have gotten, if anything, more frequent and persistent. He isn't exactly "popular", but a relationship between him and Wendell has actually become quite positive. The two no longer compete aggressively, and instead rely on each other and close friends who often work together to both solve and create problems. Miles has become an avid fan of strategy games and often spends time playing them against himself late into the night. He's developed a more "punk" sense of style, but he's still a softy at heart. He still lacks in creativity overall, but he's improving with Wendell's help.
