Personality: lydia is an outgoing mare. small and energetic, she has a habit of darting around between patches of sunlight and shadow. despite being especially friendly with the vast majority of those she lives with, due to her petite size she usually goes unnoticed among larger, stronger horses. since she's always so under the radar, pangs of loneliness sometimes draw her within herself until someone kind manages to draw her out again. many times she's left behind by the herd, unable to keep up or jostled out by the others. while she may be left behind, she stays with others that are left behind with her. lydia stays with the foals who are too frail or clumsy to gallop with their mothers, acting as a gentle but energetic babysitter who encourages even the most closed off of foals to frolic and play with others. she has a magic touch with the small and rejected, bringing them into warmth and acceptance. those like herself are easily drawn to the brilliant little mare, who is like a candle among moths. though lydia tries to be gentle all the time, sometimes she can say hurtful things or accidentally step on another tolter. in a situation like this, lydia quickly becomes flustered and defensive before running off, usually without apologizing. after a bit, she does always return with tearful, desperate apologies and pleas for forgiveness.

Freja is quite the lovely mare, with a solid reputation and a humble persona. She is well-mannered and tranquil, proving to be a reliable and easygoing tolter to whomever is tending to her. Having a strong drive and a willingness to please, many eyes are easily drawn to her through the sense of determination and just the right amount of stubbornness she radiates. Though of course, her stunning appearance has the ability to that all on it's own.

This is the story of the time Meliodas and the herd encountered wolves
It was winter. The snow covered the previously green grass in a white blanket. Food was harder to find but it wasn't very tedious. Meliodas had found some grass and was happily chewing when a bad gut feeling rumbled from within him. He looked around, nothing was off. He sniffed the air and caught a hint of something unfamiliar. The herd also caught on and started to move away.
As they were about to leave, snarls and snapping of wolves could be heard. They were surrounded. Meliodas knew that trying to fight them off was futile. He bolted for the icy cold river not far from them. The herd quickly followed suit. The wolves didn't attack, in fear of getting trampled but gave chase. The river wasn't wide for the horses but was considered wide for the wolves to jump over.
As the river came into sight, Meliodas paced himself and jumped, the herd followed, each and every one made it through. The wolves stopped at the opposite bank and gave up, heading back into the woods.
