Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.
Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.
Variety: Tiny tail, Streak / Irregular Blaze facial markings.

Biggest fear and why: Her intelligence seems way to far ahead of her at times, causing her to think to hard about things- leave things to easy to make a dark side to. When she sees something, good, bad or otherwise, Topaz tends to see it as a darker thing then it actually is. The mountains being ghosts of the planets destruction in the thousands of years before her, or the bare winter trees being a sign that millions of leaves have died, and each of those leaves represent something most take for granted. While none of these things are serious, and none really get to her all that badly- there is one thing that always seems to get to her.
Her Footprints. Seems silly really. At least to most anyway, the thought of her footprints causing her so much sadness or fear. There generally simple markings in the ground that go away after a tide or when others walk a crossed them, but to her there a symbol of someone being there. She's simply afraid of knowing where she is, others knowing where she's gone and the fact that her memory will simply disappear someday. She isn't sure if she's more afraid of being forgotten, or being remembered, so she simply blames the footprints that follow behind her.
One way she tries to conquer this fear is by simply walking in snowy territories, muddy landscapes, or places where she knows she can leave a footprint behind. Her favorite is the snow however, as it leaves a cold sting in her feet, reminding her why she was walking in such a place. Facing her fear, however, hasn't always gotten herself anywhere.
