Caught myself before posting a pink horse! Whoo!

Story: Temptation is a sweet and kind old mare, who is used for little children to ride around. Temptation's favorite job, that she is often used for, is to help disabled children regularly at the main equestrian park in her town. She loves this job because she knows that whenever she allows that little boy or girl up on her back, she is helping them. One of the little girls that rides her often has autism, this little girl calls Temptation "Tippie" and she often braids her mane and tail and places blue and white ribbons in her mane.

I shook the ever-growing snow off my back. North Dakota was not treating us well this winter. I jumped as a small kick hit my stomach. I sighed. I forgot I had a growing foal in my belly! Vander, my mate, came over to check on me, bringing warm water. My ears tilted, asking where the water was from. "I found a spring not too far from here. Its nice and warm, I think Icicle should be born there. It would be warm enough for her." He nuzzled my fat belly. "Can you stand or walk long enough to get there?" I nodded silently. We took the 5 minute walk slowly, and ended up getting there in about 30 minutes. Vander laid me down in the warm water of the spring. I relaxed. I think I found a home. Finally.

*They welcomed Melting Snow (Icicle) into their lives in the brunt of North Dakota Winter.
*She lives with her herd in North Dakota, and they often migrate to the slightly Warmed South Dakota if winters get too strong.

Story:
He was a handsome, dignified stallion, right? Well, that's what I thought when I bought him. Then I came home to.... this.
There was pink paint everywhere. Pink hoofprints down the barn isle, pink splashes on the stall doors, and a pink splattered blanket lying in the barn isle. I ran through the barn, wondering if maybe a raccoon had somehow made it's way into the three open cans of pink paint I had left out overnight. Unfortunately, it was not a raccoon. Outside in the sunlight stood Panther. His normally pristine coat was splattered with pink. Most of his body just had random dribbles and splashes, but three hooves, his nose, and his ears were covered in the monstrosity. I admit it. I may have cried. I may have yelled a little. I spent the rest of the day scrubbing the barn (and my horse!) free of pink.
The only good thing that came of it was that I finally had a show name for the stallion.
It was obvious, then, really.
Pink Panther.

I'm still trying to pick a winner. I am torn between two of them, one which made me giggle, and one which hit too close to home. Like, as in, I've sat in that position before.

This was the hardest thing I've ever done. I ended up having a friend help me pick!
I'm going to do the halter later, as I want to do the ribbons as add-ons to the mane and tail.

It's worth noting that I have Autism, and used to ride. Her name was actually Roxy, and she was a 14.3 HH barely-a-horse gentle thing. My favorite story to tell people is that she actually bit my pants once during a camp show. (I never wore green pants around horses again, for good reason)

I voulenteer at a riding center that is specifically for disabled children. I lead them around on some of the sweetest calmest horses you will ever meet. I see hundreds of kids a year and they all are soo happy to ride these horses.

I based this horse off a real horse x3 Her name is Temptation and everyone calls her Tippie!
