Ranger doesn't have many friends. He doesn't get along well with the other horses. Most humans aren't fond of working with him, as he has a generally grumpy and aggressive temperament. The only true "friend" this poor boy has is the girl. She's small, with a head of strawberry blond hair. She's strong, but delicate, and knows just how to deal with Ranger's temper tantrums. And for that, the stallion loves her. He would do anything for the girl. When she comes to ride him, he drops his dangerous facade, and shows her the inside of himself. Suddenly, he's no longer trying to bite, but instead muzzle. Of course Ranger still has his bad days. Just because she makes him a better horse doesn't mean she makes him good. When that happens, he's quickly disciplined. But the girl never gets scared or abandons Ranger. She stays by him through all things.
