What Is A Dire Salki?
A Dire Salki is an above average sized species of canine that stands at around 140-200 cm tall, about the same height as a horse. They are of slender build with a tucked under stomach and long muzzle. They are built in a way that enables them to be extremely fast runners but also able to run for long periods of time. Being mostly of such docile nature, they are usually used as working animals. Most of which being ridden as a mount or used for pulling light loads (or heavier loads if there are multiple Salki together). Because of their large size, they are usually too large to keep inside (just as a horse would be) and so are often kept chained outside. They are social and gentle animals that require social interaction, preferring the company of humans over that of their own kind. They will get bored easily so need some type of work or mental stimulation.
