Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Variety: Medium tail, Normal v.2 facial markings, unnatural colored pawpads.

Short Story: : Aplós awoke one day to find she as in a berry field, she couldn't remember her past, and she had no idea what would happen in her future. She knew that what she did right then would impact weather she would ever see her future. She sniffed the air, other foxes were closing in. Aplós struggled to her feet, her left back leg collapsing under her weight, she struggled up again and limped into the under growth. She crouched her brush flicking, connecting with something solid. She yipped, and turned to see a fox with a mottled gray and gold coat. The Todd grinned at her and she flinched, this was it, he was going to kill her, she thought. Instead the other fox flicked his brush in a gesture for silence. Outside of their hiding place a group of gray foxes prowled, their intent unclear, until one of them snarled, "She should be here, she was here, Let's get moving!" she commanded her skulk and they scampered in the opposite direction. Once they were gone, the fox Aplós was hiding with straightened and looked down at her, with knowledgeable eyes, "Hi, I'm Pirie, welcome to your future." and that is the start of her story.

Short Story:
Caramel hungrily licked her lips as she gazed longingly at the food presented before her. Rabbit mixed with various berries and herbs. Ha, she wished. Caramel sighed as she failed to make the rotten piece of scrap meat in front of her into something pleasant to her mind. Just another ordinary day in her life, fighting for food and always ending up with very little. It was a surprise to her she was not malnourished, but she was glad at how well she fought for her life unlike other Fox's who are in clans and such and work together. She was alone and only had herself. Her stomach growled angrily and in pained hunger, causing Caramel to push her better judgement away and to eat the disgusting meat. She gagged as the meat touched her tongue but painfully swallowed it anyway.
She groaned in displeasure, but her stomach growled happily, as the sickly piece of meat slid down her throat. She felt like it was slime going down, not meat.
