Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.
Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.
Variety: Long tail, Half-Moon facial markings. Custom kitty collar.

Name: Kitten
Gender: Vixen
Personality in 10 traits:Favorite memory as a kit:
✺Sassy- Oh the sass, Kitten is a regular whip with words. She has been know to silence even the cockiest males with a word and a single sultry glance in their direction.
✺Independent- You could probably guess that, but Kitten (or Kit as she prefers) won't let other people boss her around, especially todds. Her mother taught her that if she couldn't take care of herself, she wasn't really a fox.
✺Candid- Kit is brutally honest but in a frank way that doesn't really leave room for offense. Believe it or not, Kit hasn't really caused an uproar with her words, even if she is telling someone their worst fault. She's just... honest.
✺Patient- I doubt you were expecting that. Nope, Kitten can wait. She knows that all the best things are worth waiting for, so she does not rush anything (her mother says that its lazyness more than patience, but Kit doesn't like that word and its not... entirely true).
✺High Respect For Vixens- Probably because she was a mommy's girl, Kitten will always take a female's advice seriously while she may doubt about a todd's.
✺Social- Kit is extremely social. She likes to participate in conversation, both listening and contributing, and she just likes the feeling of being surrounded by others, especially those she trusts. She will be joining a clan asap.
✺Chatty- As you might have guessed with her wit and social tendencies, Kitten likes to talk. Yeah, she listens too, but only in order to figure out where she can join in with the conversation and to give others a chance to fuel it. She hates talking over other people, though, so she does wait her turn. She also hates being talked over; its probably her biggest turn off from a todd if he interrupts what she is saying.
✺Mature- This is a relative term. I say that she is mature because she is definitely not a kit in an adult's body. She doesn't like playing all that much. Nor does she participate in conversation that is vulgar or childish. She does, however, have moments where she whines or complains childishly or she takes offense for no apparent reason. For the most part, though, she is fairly self-controlled.
✺Slightly Emotionally Unpredictable- Kitten is actually a fairly easy-to-get-along-with fox, but there are moments every once in a while where she suddenly flies into a temper for no apparent reason or bursts into a gleeful romp simply because the sun is shining. These outbursts are often followed by extreme embarrassment because Kit prides herself on her steadiness of character.
Kit will always remember the day her mother gave her the collar she wears. Her mother had the strange tradition of celebrating the day of her birth. Of course, because Delta Velorum Foxes do not keep a record of the days of the year, this was a very vague day. There would just be one day during the fall time that her mother would surprise her with a gift.
This year was probably the last one that Kitten could say she was really a Kit, but it stuck with her forever afterwards.
Her mother called her to herself, saying that it was her birthday! While Kit was pleased that it was today that she would receive a special little gift from mother, she was utterly taken aback by the surprise her mother had for her. It was the beautiful collar! With an extra special bell attached to it.
Kitten will forever have stuck in her mind the pretty collar lying in the grass with the sunlight sparkling off it. And more importantly, the moment where her mother nuzzled her.
"I just wanted to make sure you knew how special you were to me." the older vixen murmured.
Kit looked up into her mother's eyes, reflecting the mutual love she felt for her mother.
"I know," she said, "I hope you know how special you are to me too."
With that and an understanding look, her mother helped Kitten put on the collar which she never took off afterward.
Edit: Woops! Totally missed that there was a word limit! XD Sorry, its fixed now! :3
