info; Torch is a very eager, loyal mount; she's highly trained, and will move obediently wherever she is guided. Her fight or flight instinct has been tempered, a best it can be, so that Torch relies heavily upon her rider, doing everything in her ability to keep them mounted and moving. The mare blends well with the darkness, and so has made for a great runner in the dark, often used as a messenger horse. However, she has been trained as a war mount, said training leading to powerful strikes with her hooves and hard teeth wherever she can grasp when taken into the field of battle. Though not a true drestreir, lacking their huge form and more powerful musculature, but her smaller, more agile size makes it easier to slip among the larger war horses and lead her rider where needed quickly. She may not be a giant of a wolf, or a fire breathing beast, but this mare will keep you as safe as she can under even the worst circumstances.

Behind the name;; I'm not as familiar with Game of Thrones as I am with Lord of The Rings. I decided to go with the theme of medieval times and name this mare after none other than the Lady of Rivendell herself, Arwen. This mare is dark in color and it reminded me of Arwen's dark brown hair.
