Welcome to Crowntail Racers Adoption Agency! Here, you may browse our lovely selection of the infamous Crowntail, a rare
and treasured equine species native to the coasts of Thailand. Lucky for you, our agency specializes in obtaining and breeding
these beauties a little bit closer to home. These beasts range from 10 to 14 hands (3 - 4 ft), and average anywhere from 500
to 900 pounds. Despite their tranquil appearance, they are known as ferocious fighters with harshly controlled dictatorship
style packs. However, they can be easily tamed in captivity, and may even be ridden by their trainers.

CrownTail Special Needs Adoptions wrote:These Crowntails have had a tough start in life and are
looking for new owners to take care of them. We have a few to begin with and others are coming from our
shelter over the next few weeks. Each Crowntail will have something wrong with them, from torn fins and
scars to amputations. Some even have bandages to cover up injuries.

Welcome to the another' Special Needs' Crowntail! This poor horse is one of three horses we rescued, whose owner was a part of the illegal 'cropping' trend that crops the Crowntail's tail short when they are young. This Crowntail also has equine influenza but luckily isn't a bad case of it. To adopt them please write a small story of you treating their flu and give them a fitting name.

Curing the cold:

I walked back to my trailer, keeping an eye on the coughing stallion within. He's been having a pretty rough time as of late. BB watches skittishly, her hooves sliding lightly over the rain wetted grass. I gently take hold of the stallion, Finite's lead and tug him out of the trailer. His movements are slow and measured. He gives a cough and some mucous comes up from his nose. I gently rub his neck and soothe him down, earning me a slightly perked up ear flick.

"Atta boy." I coo gently to the stallion as I lead him to the quarantine area. I can't let the influenza spread. I get him settled down in a comfortable stall and offer some food and water, both of which he refuses. I settle down next to him and eventually manage to coax him into drinking through a syringe.

As the days pass, I keep a close eye on Finite and caste for him personally. At around the third day, I'm getting him to drink normally and suck down a warm vitamin enriched mash. By the middle of the second week, he's eating normally and his fever has gone down. I keep him in quarantine until I'm positive he's feeling ready to go, then settle him into a stall connected to a small paddock.
