I'd say my buckskins have gotten quite a bit better.
And I've broadened my horizons and now can make so many more coats and markings, it's awesome. It's been the greatest working here, from #008 to #4000 and beyond. Getting to know the community and it's members has been so fun, and I can't wait to stay for another 4000... Cause you all know we'll get there ;3 Love you all to bits! <3

The sun sets once more over Rusted pine, the humans, stupid as ever have left me with the foolish other horses, I am clearly the boss, they are stupid not to kneel to me, but really is this me? Of course not, I built my walls up to high, so high that my soul can no longer see what is right. All I can do is hope no one else can see in, for inside is the true me. A frightened fillie trapped inside an adult body. A scared little foal that knows not where she is, who is scared that others will hate her for who she is. No this is easier, better to know they hate me, not worry about if they do. Yes this is easier, I convince myself once more. I know it isn't, somedays I imagine what it would be like if I didn't act like this, perhaps someday I will know. Then I knew it had to be now, It couldn't be later, no, I would show them the real me, they couldn't hate her more than the me they knew.

The next day I began, I didn't snort at the others, this made them uneasy, they were used to me being snarky, it was a part of their routine. I didn't push my way to the hay, I waited, I went last. I did this all day, and the next. The other horses began to aproach me, the first was mare named Katsa I didn't flare my ears, I let her aproach and rolled the ball I was playing with to her. She nudged it back and we began to play with the ball. It felt amazing to play with someone, she wasn't judging me, she was happy with me, she didn't care.
For the first time in a long time, I was happy.

❀ quiet, cool, and collected are all words that describe sadetta. she's the calm after the storm, she's the rainbow after the rain, she's the new life that springs from the earth after a downpour. she's like a bright beacon of hope and warmth, and she radiates this wherever she goes. this is one of the reasons why she makes such a good friend; she listens and absorbs everything and there's no one better to talk to than her. she has an almost unreal serenity about her, something that she has to work hard to maintain- despite what many think. she's been through hardships in her life, she's had to throw punches and take them, and she's had to deal with the rickety roller coaster of this world as much as the next horse, or human, or dog, or anything other species that roams this earth. but she's learned holding resentment, and wanting more than what can realistically be achieved just drags down the value of life. she's learned to appreciate what she has, to be grateful for the opportunities she's been given, and has set out on a life mission to encourage others to come to this same conclusion. she wants to be remembered after she's gone, but only by those that deserve to remember her and for a reason. she doesn't want her name to be just another name, she wants it to mean something. so, she fights for that right, and she tries to only do what is best for herself and for others.

she stretched out her neck, down over the top of her stall door, towards the small child looking up at her with eyes glittering with wonder. small as sadetta was, she felt like she towered above this tiny life form she was meeting for the first time. the child's eyes were the largest the mare had ever seen- a sea green color rimming the edges of wide pupils, about as black a raven's feather. the young girl, with bouncing blonde curls, and tiny, tiny hands, brushed over the velvet of sadetta's nose, and if it was possible, sadetta would've smiled. she envied the humans' ability to preform such a lovely expression. the child showed off that smile now, giggling and spreading her lips wide to show off small baby teeth, some still growing in. the girl could barely walk, her mother was behind her with one hand protectively encircling her arm. sadetta didn't know the purpose of the child's visit that day, but she did know that it was worth every precious second. to see life like that- innocent and pure. it was enlightening that she was the horse out of all the others to have that opportunity. she simply hoped she would see the young girl again, at some point in both of their travels. it was bound to happen and it wouldn't just be coincidence- because when ever was it?
