Story:
The Rain washed over my shoulders. I peered up ahead, shivering. Where was he? Then, I saw him. A orange yearling male wolf with yellow spots padded up. "Do... dooo we have toooo?" He moaned peering back mournfully. "I mea... mean.... stealing some sun? It cant be done! The gods wont allow it!" I puffed up my chest. "Lupis and Canine will! We have to before FOXES do!!!" As I looked at the red sun , I watched how every day, it touched the highest mountain. I could steal some from there....
It kept raining. As I plodded on, I looked at the sun resentfully. I wanted it, and then Id take the moon... I could hunt whenever I wanted. Sunstep plodded next to me. "Weve been going for hours! We wont make it!" I shrugged. "Not my worry."
I kept up the pace, and soon we stood under the mountan. Then we started to climb. " HURRY! ITS ALMOST TIME!!!" I howled, running forward. Sunstep followed, and soon we stood under it. The sun pressed closer... and touched my fur. I howled in agony as, before both our eyes, I caught on fire. Then the sun flared, its eery purple color changing to blue. Normally, when the sun changed color was a treat. Now it burned. And it yanked me forward, and as I was dragged to the edge of the cliff, I spun around. Sun step stared at me with sad eyes. "Canine caught you." He howled sadly, and I was pulled into the sun.
Urf. I opened one eye, and regretted it. The light was so bright... What had happened? I didnt... couldnt... cant... remember. The light around me pulsed colors, and I relized what had happened. I trembled, and opened my eyes wildly shaking my head. It wasnt a dream. If I stared at the side of the light, I could see earth. I was dipping into it as the moon came up. And in the distance... a lone yearling that was orange with yellow spots stood, staring at the sun. Sunstep.
The sun dipped lower, and I froze as earth rose from the ground. The sun was sinking into the ground! But wait... I could escape that way! If the sun went through, I couldnt and would be left behind. I could hide. But the earth touched my foot, and it slid over it, and I was sinking into it. I raised my muzzle choking, and then I went under.
My vision was brown, and then I came to a cave. The sun opened on one end, and let me step out before shutting, and sinking back through the floor. I looked around. Fire roared across the place, and it glowed an eery blue. Blue fire? Weird... but... AAAAGHHH!!! I had peeked down, and caught sight of the red and blue fire all over me! I howled, but then a voice growled, CUT IT OUT.
I froze. And looked around there was no one there. And then... a wolf begin to appear. It was a strong lean Alpha Male. He burned red and shifted shade. He was Canine, god of the fire, sun, fighting and day.
An Alpha Female stepped next to him, her coat sparkled with grace. She was ranging blues, with white shifting lights over her body. She was Lupine, goddess of the river, moon, hunting and night.
Wolf, was I in trouble! I shivered from the fire on me, and looked and saw the blue fire was made of water, and the red hotter than anything. I looked up. Both wolves were giant, I was as big as their eyes. Do you know why your here? a pretty voice sounded inside my head, and I nodded. "I.. tried to touch the sun?"
NO! YOU TRIED TO STEAL IT!!! Snarled Canine, lunging at me, and pinning me down. I peered at his huge claws, and started yelping. "Okay I didnt know, let me go back!"
Lupine sighed. You know dont you? She said softly. "What? That Ill never go..go..guh guh go... back?" I trembled. YEP! YOU ARE GOING TO SUFFER FOR ETERNALTY!!! Canine swooped down, and all of a sudden, he grabbed me in his jaws, and swallowed me whole.
