does he/she like being color blind?: If you were to ask Snap this question directly, he'd probably just answer with a shrug and witty remark. Having been born color blind, Snap can't say whether he misses something that he's never actually experienced. Of course, whenever he says that whoever he's talking to immediately tries to explain to him what colors are like, but all that ever does is confuse him more. From what he has been able to gather though, Snap isn't sure he'd be much happier with color vision. He gets so easily distracted by random objects as it is; adding even more attention grabbing details like color somehow doesn't sound like it would be a good idea. Yeah, it does get kind of annoying when people ask you to hand them the red/blue/green thingamabob, but Snap is quite happy the way he is.

Hi, I'm kinikat!

When Caroljean was born, all she could see was black and white. She thought that it was normal, that this was what everyone saw. But as she grew older, she realized that other Bumble Bee Bats could see something that she did not have the ability to see. Colour.

"Other Bumble Bee Bats look at me with pity. They tell me how sorry they are that all I see is black and white. But they are wrong. They have always been wrong. I create my own colours when I dance. I see more colours than anyone else. I've had experiences that most Bumble Bee Bats don't get to have in their lifetime; being able to see the world in a whole new way. Being colour blind is a gift that many do not get."

When Caroljean dances, she escapes reality and enters the world of dance. Lyrical dancing has created an opportunity for her. She dances about her colour blindness, about her struggles and successes because of it.
