Personality: Kiara is amazingly stubborn, and if she doesn't wish to partake in something, she won't. She will fight with all her power, screaming like she's being murdered, throwing her head around, bucking and rearing. She's also amazingly hotheaded and can become easily filled with pride at the smallest compliment. Kiara loves to pull pranks on other tolters. In particular, she enjoys scaring them and because of this others are generally wary around her. Unless of course they're the friends she bands together with to pull the pranks off. She has a tendency to say things she doesn't really mean if she's upset or angry, or simply dislikes the tolter she's dealing with. Kiara is wildly competitive, always trying to be the best out of all of them. If she doesn't do something perfect, she will beat herself up about it. Despite this, Kiara is incredibly loyal to everyone around her and would give nearly everything to keep them safe. She hates it when she upsets other tolters hugely, and will often spend all of her time trying to show them she didn't mean it or console them-- which often means leaving them little anonymous gifts in hopes to make them smile.

Relationships with other tolters:
Foxfire
Kiara sometimes finds Foxfire's cheerful nature to be somewhat annoying, even if he does not mean to be. However, she does get along with him fairly well, and the two are often seen chatting together or even coming up with stories to tell each other. In a way, Foxfire was the first tolter Kiara befriended when she first arrived; because of this, the stallion is one of her closest friends.

Hawkeye
This mare finds the perlino stallion's heroic and bold attitude rather confusing- in her opinion, nothing he's ever done was truly heroic or amazing. Bucking his rider off? Kiara found that somewhat rude and was amazed that he had the nerve to find it amusing and even brag about it to the rest of the tolters near him. Due to this particular incident, Kiara does not really associate with Hawkeye and tends to avoid him. Even though she's made it obvious she is not fond of him, Hawkeye still tries to impress her. Maybe someday she'll wish to truly befriend him?

Supernova
Kiara wishes that she could become friends with the appaloosa stallion. She's seen his close bond with their owner and the way he seems to be so friendly towards her. However, whenever she approaches, despite all of her attempts to show she means him no harm, the stallion always turns tail and runs from her. Kiara's heard other tolters discussing his shyness. She wants someday to become friends with him, as she has a feeling that they would be very great friends.

Lilly
Lilly was very understanding of Kiara when she first arrived at the stables, and the two were friends almost instantly. Kiara adores the mare's understanding and gentle personality, and when in doubt will always turn to the buckskin mare. She admires her wisdom and hopes someday she can forget her hotheadedness and be more like her idol.

Seraphina
Kiara dislikes this mare's often quietness, disliking the fact that she often times hides herself away in the woods. She wishes Seraphina would be more open and talkative. Kiara has followed her before and was immediately confused. All she really did was stand within the trees, eyes shut tight, bathing in the rays of sun. Granted, there had been beautiful birdsong, but Kiara wonders how she can possibly stand to be so quiet and still.

Max
Kiara admires his wild nature and wishes she could have ventured out with him when he jumped from his corral. The two are best friends and practically inseparable. Max is the tolter Kiara generally plays pranks with and spends nearly every minute of every day with him. They make jokes together, laugh together, and they even eat together. They are both very protective of each other, each willing to stand up for the other. The amber champagne mare would be absolutely heartbroken if anything were to happen to Max.

Esperanza
Esperanza has been the victim of many of Max and Kiara's pranks; the two have a very... unstable relationship. The main reason Kiara generally targets Esperanza is because the appaloosa mare is always polite, never suspecting of what's to come despite having been pranked countless times. Kiara gets a kick out of her reactions. To her and Max, it will never get old.

Discipline: Due to her love for running at quick speeds, Kiara's discipline is mainly focused upon cross country with the occasional barrel race or two mixed within. Kiara is also rather fond of jumping, so the obstacles placed within cross country are ideal for the mare.

Quirk(s): If she is excited or anticipating something, Kiara will often times toss her head. Most horses would only do this once, but she does it multiple times in a row.
When she enters a large body of water, (e.g. a lake,) Kiara will bite at it as though she could catch it between her teeth. She will also lick at the water like it's a large piece of ice.
If there is a severe thunderstorm or snowstorm, Kiara will hide and refuse to come outdoors regardless of anything for days afterward.

Holiday- Kiara's favorite holiday out of the many ones celebrated is Halloween. Why?
Halloween is generally associated with scary things and candy. These are two of Kiara's favorite things. On Halloween, all of the horses are generally more alert, prepared for Kiara's antics. No matter how hard they try, however, Kiara nearly always manages to frighten all of the tolters at the stable in some manner.
Kiara will also steal candy from anyone of any age. She will go all out to make sure she gets a piece of candy corn or a peppermint from any living being that displays it openly. She doesn't care about the consequences- just that she would get the candy.
Color- Kiara absolutely loves bright, neon green. There's no particular reason for this; she just finds the color very eye-catching.
Season- Her favorite season? That's easy. Autumn.
There's an endless supply of leaves to hide in and kick about, and of course hide under. All the better for scaring, right? Not to mention Halloween occurs during this season. Kiara also adores the weather. It's warm, but not too hot, and cool, but not cold. Although all of the flowers have mostly died off, there's still the insects. Kiara loves insects. But that's a different story.
Time of day- Kiara's favorite time of day is at night, when the sky is stained with different shades of orange, purple, pink, yellow, you name it. The sun seems to hang suspended by a thin thread, shedding the last of its warm rays across the land, reminding her of a giant priceless gemstone. To Kiara, it's always beautiful, and always will be, no matter how many times she witnesses it.
Treat- Candy corn is by far this mare's favorite sweet treat. Or as she calls it, delicacy. She is usually only able to get it during Halloween, and then it's only obtained by stealing, which makes it even more special. Kiara says it tastes like mischief- if mischief had a taste, that is.
Animal- The sound of birds singing in early morning or as the sun sets soothes Kiara; this is why she loves songbirds of any type. If their call is beautiful and soothing, Kiara adores the bird.
Constellation- Out of all of the constellations out there, Kiara is probably most fond of Ursa Major, the bear. When she first sighted it, however, she had little knowledge of constellations, and she had not the faintest clue that it was intended to be a bear. Once she knew, she constantly searched the starry night skies for the stars. Once she found it, she would imagine a living bear outlined with stars, roaming the sky, shedding its light. Every night, when the sky isn't clouded, she finds the group of stars and lets her imagination run free.
Insect- Kiara loves insects of all shapes and sizes. Except wasps. She hates those.
There are dozens of insects in current existence. Out of all of them, Kiara adores crickets.
When she was just a filly, a newborn at that, Kiara stumbled upon a plump ebony black cricket. She squealed with delight and lowered her head, eyes sparkling with excitement. The tiny creature climbed up onto the bridge of her muzzle and began to chirp. Kiara's eyes blazed with eagerness and curiosity as she watched it.
The cricket was actually the first other living creature Kiara discovered besides her family, and in a way they are special to her. Whenever she sees a cricket she will stop and gaze at it, the slightest hint of adoration still evident in her gaze.

Kiara is not leader nor is she at the bottom of the "pecking order." She fits right in with all of the other tolters, and gets along with most of them fairly well, and it's because of this that she's more in the middle of all of them. There have been multiple occasions in which all but one or two tolters nearly lost it with her and drove her out, or simply refused to behave while she was around. Kiara was always very remorseful after this, and she made this evident by stealing things from others and leaving them out for the other ponies.

Although Kiara and Max are incredibly close, Kiara's mate isn't the white grey stallion. In fact, it's Kovu.

Relationship with Kovu:
Kiara and Kovu are extremely close, their bond stronger than that of the one she holds with Max. Every moment they spend together, it seems to grow stronger. Kiara is very affectionate towards her mate, very protective of him no matter what. She is always there for him and would never betray him, no matter the consequence. If someone says something bad about him, she will become very upset and often times angry, immediately deciding said person is an enemy. Kiara will bare her teeth at them, squeal at them, and if it's bad enough in her eyes she will charge at them.
Kovu and Kiara often engage in rounds of tag or chase, each one playfully nipping at the other throughout the game. Much like Kiara and Max, the two are actually inseparable. If one is to grow upset with the other, it's not long before their disagreement is forgotten. The two make each other laugh or do ridiculous things to cheer the other up. They also tease each other to no end, though they both know it's out of affection.
Kiara loves Kovu dearly and would do absolutely anything to keep him safe.
Kiara would be terribly forlorn if something were to happen to her beloved mate.

She fits right in with all of the other tolters, and gets along with most of them fairly well, and it's because of this that she's more in the middle of all of them. There have been multiple occasions in which all but one or two tolters nearly lost it with her and drove her out, or simply refused to behave while she was around. Kiara was always very remorseful after this, and she made this evident by stealing things from others and leaving them out for the other ponies.

Although Kiara and Max are incredibly close, Kiara's mate isn't the white grey stallion. In fact, it's Kovu.

Relationship with Kovu:
Kiara and Kovu are extremely close, their bond stronger than that of the one she holds with Max. Every moment they spend together, it seems to grow stronger. Kiara is very affectionate towards her mate, very protective of him no matter what. She is always there for him and would never betray him, no matter the consequence. If someone says something bad about him, she will become very upset and often times angry, immediately deciding said person is an enemy. Kiara will bare her teeth at them, squeal at them, and if it's bad enough in her eyes she will charge at them.
Kovu and Kiara often engage in rounds of tag or chase, each one playfully nipping at the other throughout the game. Much like Kiara and Max, the two are actually inseparable. If one is to grow upset with the other, it's not long before their disagreement is forgotten. The two make each other laugh or do ridiculous things to cheer the other up. They also tease each other to no end, though they both know it's out of affection.
Kiara loves Kovu dearly and would do absolutely anything to keep him safe.
Kiara would be terribly forlorn if something were to happen to her beloved mate.
