I spoke with .~.AdeleKitty.~. and we've decided that this lil guy (or girl/whatever you want!) will be going UFA!
The contest will be a pretty simple-ish impress me with limits!
You will have 400 words to write about their special talent and how it affects their life.
Separate from that, you have an additional 800 words (so a total of 1200 words max for the whole contest) to talk about whatever you want to say about them! Go nuts! As for art, you can include up to 10 pieces, but there's a twist: at least half of the art (rounded up) must be made by you! (of course more than half of the art can be yours) So you don't have to worry about calculations/exceptions or whatever, here's a chart:

Also, rest assured that I will be judging based off of concept and effort over skill! A "low quality" colored piece with them doing something like juggling or whatever is better in my eyes than a really good piece with no background of them just sitting.

Atticus
Atticus, married to Marina, is one of their moms. She is very outgoing and can be a little wild at times. She has an interest in science and what could be described as more "witchcraft" than anything- making potions. She occasionally goes a little over the top with her ambition, but does mean well.

Marina
Marina is the child's other mom. She can be rather grumpy at times and does not have much of a patience, but she tries a lot for those close to her and loves her family very much, even if she doesn't show it much. She is not much for talking to strangers, but likes being with those close to her.

Abel
Abe is the child's older brother. He is often rather disconnected from his family and friends and likes to be alone a lot of the time. however, this is not to say that he is shy, as he does enjoy meeting people, but he does need time to recharge. He tends to steer away from "overly focused" and/or ruthless individuals.

They will not be abused and will always be accepted for whatever sexuality/gender they turn out to be.
At the most, they might be affected by Abel if you think he'd end up ignoring them a lot. Marina also might get upset at them if they get too wild, but she wouldn't do more than that.
