Tolter's name: Just Keep Jumpin' // Fay
Gender: Mare
Halter: like a fawn's coat
Companion: Fay's companion is a little baby fawn she first found during early last spring! The little fella had got disconnected from it's mother, and wandered into the not so safe area of Free Spirit Ranch's pasture! Fay, being the protective yet playful and curious girl she is, investigated the still wobbly on it's feet fawn when it entered into her vision. The fawn was scared and weak, but Fay protected it. She's show it where to go by giving the fawn a little push on it's behind, and soon, the fawn was fallowing Fay everywhere she traveled! For a few days, the foal stayed, together, the two would run and jump around the field, Fay was always letting out a happy whinny, and staying behind when the fawn lost it's footing and fell. Every night it would lay down, and Fay would then, very carefully, lay next to the fawn, putting her head and neck over the baby deer, protecting it. Fay couldn't have been any happier. Once there was a small group of female deer, only one having a fawn of it's own. The fawn went to walk over to them, but Fay kept pushing it away from the deer, but the next morning, it was gone. Fay was upset for weeks, didn't have any motivation to do anything, until a much larger, less spotted fawn wandered once again into the pasture! Instinctively, Fawn, much less pep in her step, went to explore the creature. But soon, their eyes locked. Fay let out a whinny, and galloped around the fawn who chased Fay in return. Ever since then, the fawn has always come back every few days to stop by and play. Later on in life, we discovered the fawn was a female. Her spots faded, she grew taller, but no antlers grew on her. This spring, her friend came back, but not by her self. She had company, two, small white spotted twin fawns. Together, Fay protected the 3 deer, especially the babies, as, like when Fay and the deer first met, the fawns were new on their legs, getting used to walking on long legs. Fay and her little friend both love and enjoy each other's company, and hope to do so, for many years to come.
