Another beautiful reaper! I'd be crazy not to try and win him! Consider this my official reserve! But question, is there a word limit on the story? I tend to get a bit into my writing.
Username: Raven Brigade
Name: Gilgamesh
Story:Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh, they all cried for Gilgamesh
The wind reaper known for his tattered flesh
Though larger than the average brute
He was never met with a salute
Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh they all cried for Gilgamesh
When their homeland began to reek of rotting flesh
Alone, he fought to protect them all
Alone, he built their precious wall
A wall was built, a wall of stone
but at the coast of Gilgamesh bone
When betrayed by those of his own blood
He sought out the sage of the great flood
And when their city fell to ruin
Gilgamesh they cried, Gilgamesh the Truant
Gilgamesh was a great warrior of his homeland, and when the time came for a great battle to be won, he ran back home to try to save those who were under a surprise attack of the enemy. Alone he fought against the enemy as he was being called coward on battlefields beyond his homeland. He built a great wall around his whole homeland, fighting the enemy off just barely before the wall was complete. After the war was over and the wall was finished, instead of being greeted as a hero for saving all of the homeland from slaughter, he was beaten and betrayed by his family for running away from another battle. After his betrayal he sought out the
Sage Ra'saki, who had once told him a story of a great flood that inspired the young Gilgamesh to keep fighting against those that bullied him for his unusually larger size. Ra'saki and Gilgamesh now travel together as Ra'Saki treats his wounds and teaches him the ways of a shaman, though sadly the young Wind Reaper has already been branded Gilgamesh the Truant for his actions on the battlefield. Someday he hopes to be known for his heroics, not his mistakes.
