Personality: Briar-Rose was the prettiest little filly you could ever imagine, she was so precious that she was given the nickname 'Ruby' because she was a little gem. But she wasn't vain or cruel, as her thorns might have suggested, because of their sharpness, she was always so caring and gentle that everyone instantly fell in love with her. For Ruby, everyone she met was special, and she made everyone feel like they were special. Her parents doted on her, and she had more friends than you could shake a stick at, but she never got a big head or felt like she should be given special treatment, she was just a regulat TH and wanted to be treated as nothing more than that.

I chose this rose "Red Planet" because it was the very special rose I planted to mark my first cat's grave in our garden. It's a beautiful dark red, and it has the most wonderful "red fizzy drink" perfume. Every time I see the flowers they make me think of my beloved Spike (she was my kitty for most of my life...it took me years to get my new cat Ruby, who I adore <3)

Personality: Thorn is wild and untame. Thorn has a very short temper. She trusts barely no one, and those who are trusted by her have had to earn it. She often gets involved in fights, which can, and often do, end up bloody and brutal, hence the name. Her sharp leg thorns often give her an advantage, which she uses readily. She's strong, built for running. She enjoys long runs across the beach, or pretty much anywhere near water. Water is the only thing that calms her. When it's deep, blue waves rush against her hooves, and she'll often wade deep into the water, swimming freely.
