Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

• Only one event adopt per person. These adopts do not count towards your limit.
• All challenges /forms for the mini-games will be disqualified if posted after the event has ended.
• Staff member are allowed to adopt as long as they have not made their own event DVF, and must follow the same rules as everyone else.
• If someone posts a horseshoe toss form before the front page is updated to the current day, the person will not get any gems.

• You are NOT allowed to swap/trade your event DVF. You may drop out of the contests and put it for re-adoption if you wish to.

Inappropriate content that is against CS and/or DVF rules will led to an immediate and nonnegotiable disqualification, as well as a permanent ban from the Delta Velorum Fox species!

Just a reminder, this is a WILD species. On their planet there are no cities, towns, humans, cars, ect. Delta Velorum has never been inhabited by humans nor seen any of their technology before. DVFs though are a highly intelligent species and have learned how to make their own accessories.

Beyond the mapped lands of Delta Velorum lies a great fox clan far to the south. Plentiful and prosperous, this clan lives a very good life up until recently. After a bitter war was wadges with a neighboring clan - the clan was shattered and many were killed. Now the scattered and few remaining clans members have decided to be closer north were other the clans are. During this move your fox get separated during a sudden but tragic event (flood, fire, rockside, ect - owners choice) and must continue the journey with trials on their own.

Trials/Stages:
Basics - Fill out the base form given (Joining - You start here!)
Introduction - Introduction/detailed information of the DVF.
Moving Day - Starting the Journey with herd/family. (story with art)
Separation - Midway of the Journey, separated from the herd. (continuing story, optional art)
Steps Forward - Finishing the journey with challenges on their own. (Finishing story, optional art)
Home Where the Heart Is - Finding/making a home of their own in the new land. (art with short story)

How to Adopt:
In order to adopt, you need to fill out the form and post it here. Once you've filled out the form your username will be posted onto the list below. After a handful of people have filled out the forms a random number generator will be used to select you a event DVF! After that you can post on it's thread and complete the trial needed for this event.

If less then 3 trials have been completed, or if the DVF is never claimed - the DVF will be put up for re-adoption after the event.
This same rule applies to any DVF that might have had a owner banned from the event.

I don't like the DVF I was assigned, can I swap it or trade it for a different one?
No. If you do not like the DVF you were assigned it is best to put it for re-adoption to give someone else a chance to love it.

Am I allowed to reserve/mark/post on another persons Event DVF thread?
No, unless the person has completed ALL trials and says they allow posting.

I've had a new people ask this so I edited the FAQ slightly as well as posting this in case anyone wanted to know. c:

What is the minimum requirement in order to keep my Event DVF?
You are required to at least complete 3 trials (listed below) in order to be able to keep your Event DVF. We of course would love to see everyone complete all the trials but you need to complete at least these 3 in order to qualify to keep the DVF.

* Joining (signing up/joining the contest for a event DVF)
* Introduction (completed form with information about the DVF)
* Moving Day - Starting the Journey with herd/family. (story with art)

Hey! Why has my Event DVF been put up for re-adoption?!
A Event DVF will be put up for re-adoption for the following-
* You have been banned from the event for breaking the CS/event/normal DVF rules.
* The DVF was not claimed.
* The DVF's owner did not complete or fully complete at least 3 trials (joining, introduction, moving day).

The owner will always be contacted first before the DVF has been put up for re-adoption.

Am I allowed to re-name the DVF after I filled the form out?
Once it's named, it's set for good (unless that name was already taken). In order to re-name it, you need to get a Name Tag item. Always check the archive to make sure your name is not taken already first.

Why do I see a few DVFs without any fluff edits?
All Artists are allowed to make up to 1 DVF without any edits. All are still required to give a Event DVF a Halter and/or collar.

Handy dandy mini-Guide

More explanation on gameplay: So, somewhere here you'll see a place that has blank spaces and four letters.. That's your whole thing that your supposed to guess on. Its going to be a varying horse breed name if that helps at all besides the title and stuff. Just attempt to guess the name. You can use a horse guide if you want.

Guessing: You can only guess three letters a day and there is no buying vowels like wheel-of-fortune so go crazy with which letter you do guess. Despite only being able to guess three letters you can guess the answer at any time and there are no limits to how many times you can guess ! So thats just the simple idea of guessing /rules/ to be honest so lets just get down on what the load of coded things will be.. nothing hard to get.

Forms: Continuing on. There will be two forms at the bottom; a form for guessing a letter and a form for guessing the answer. Don't get them confused and I think you'll be pretty good.. but thats pretty simple right ? Just fill out the appropriate action your planning on doing. You'll know if your using the wrong form as well so.. but yeah. Have fun with these two things.

Prizes: Finally, prizes and rewards. They vary. Considering these will only be lasting a week and no longer prizes could get large. When the new round is revealed all blank with the letters then the prizes will probably be very low- as of now they're four to seven gems. Well, as the days get later then the four will increase, going even when its at a seven and stopping. If someone guesses it while it still has the hyphen ill just roll on what they get. Prizes also depend on the length of the horse name, if its longer then expect a bigger prize. Some item rolls will be randomly thrown out as well.

Extra: here some extra things will be said, all in the code just copy paste it to a post and read if you want;

Normally the first person to say the name will get the prize but if its just a few minutes apart from the second guesser then I'll reward that person with a RU sort of prize.[/size][/list][/list]
