My new light collector.
I love this guy so much.

Out Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens wrote:Chapter 11 - Podsnappery (Read the full chapter here if your interested!)
Mr Podsnap was well to do, and stood very high in Mr Podsnap's opinion. Beginning with a good inheritance, he had married a good inheritance, and had thriven exceedingly in the Marine Insurance way, and was quite satisfied. He never could make out why everybody was not quite satisfied, and he felt conscious that he set a brilliant social example in being particularly well satisfied with most things, and, above all other things, with himself.
Thus happily acquainted with his own merit and importance, Mr Podsnap settled that whatever he put behind him he put out of existence. There was a dignified conclusiveness—not to add a grand convenience—in this way of getting rid of disagreeables which had done much towards establishing Mr Podsnap in his lofty place in Mr Podsnap's satisfaction. 'I don't want to know about it; I don't choose to discuss it; I don't admit it!' Mr Podsnap had even acquired a peculiar flourish of his right arm in often clearing the world of its most difficult problems, by sweeping them behind him (and consequently sheer away) with those words and a flushed face. For they affronted him.
Thus is the origin of the word "Podsnap" or "Podsnappery".
Though of course my character is not completely based off of him. He is my newest addition to my characters named after Charles Dicken's character.
Oh and as for the definition of Podsnappery...

Podsnappery wrote:Definition of PODSNAPPERY From Various sources.
- An attitude toward life marked by complacency and a refusal to recognize unpleasant facts.
- Smug self-satisfaction and a lack of interest in the affairs of others.
- Podsnap + -ery, referring to a character Mr. Podsnap in Charles Dickens' Our Mutual Friend (1864–1865), in which this word was also coined. Podsnap was "conscious that he set a brilliant social example in being particularly well satisfied with most things, and, above all other things, with himself".
As for Ebenezer... most people know the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, yes?

Name:
Ebenezer Charles Podsnap
Gender:
Male
Nicknames:
Scrooge, Podsnap, Dandy,
Doodle, Yankee Doodle
Age:
28 yrs
Occupation:
History Professor
Uh a professor in general actually...
Bird Watcher
Podsnapper
Miser
Personality:
He's very satisfied with himself and everything he likes.
He will forget anything and anyone he finds unpleasant.
He lives in an annoyingly small world that circles around himself...
However, he has no evil intentions, and does not purposefully
inconvenience anyone. He shall, however, absentmindedly
disrespect you and be rude to you if anything you do is against
his principles. He is very contradictory, and there is a big chance he
shall disagree with you ten out of eleven times.
Family:
His distant cousins are the Nightingales.
One of said cousins is one of my other light
collectors, his name being Clarris Nightingale.
His brother by blood is Mochi Podsnap.
Crush/Girl-friend/Wife:
None and uh... doubtful.
He is difficult to get along
with or like very much sadly.
