Dog name: Elke {Elle - Key}
Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Life History: Elke had never been a very privileged dog growing up, nor had she had the happiest puffed or experiences. She was born into a littler of 6 pups, being the second born as well as the largest female out of the litter while her eldest sibling, a daunting male named Turk, took up the position of the protective older brother to his other five siblings. Weeks after she had been born, her father had gone out into the streets in search of food for the family and had returned in a terrifying state for the young pups. He had scratches and claw marks scattered all over his body, bits of his ears torn out, a claw or two missing and deep gashes on his shoulders, flanks and neck. Even at such a young age, Elke couldn't miss the overwhelming scent of unfamiliar dogs which could only mean that her father had been attacked, although she wouldn't have processed that at her age. After his return, her mother put most of her time into taking care of her mate, but the wounds were far too deep and he'd already lost a lot of blood. His passing was what shook her mother into a frazzled, immobilized state. She no longer had a spring in her step, barely had energy to care for the large pups who had grown like weeds and couldn't even hunt proper food down to feed them. Elke and Turk had taken it into their own paws, as the eldest pups of the litter, to find food and care for their younger siblings. Years passed and at the ages of 2, the pups had decided to go their own ways, branching out to start their own lives. Elke's mother had died the year before due to lack of food and water, which left Turk and herself to care for the rest of their family.
