Kenai has learned that love is a valuable thing to have to guide him through life. At one point he may have taken things like his relationship with his family and his friends for granted, but he is no longer a young and naive colt. He values his relationships with loved ones above all else and does everything in his power to keep these bonds strong and peacefully work out any problems that may arise. Few things will get to him as badly as a conflict with family or friends would and it can leave him upset for days if he can't figure out what's causing the problem. He is kind to others and isn't easily angered, and he tends to be rather serene and peaceful and talks his way out of confrontations rather than letting them escalate to the point of the fight turning physical.
