history ;; On a hot Friday evening, Aiko was born in the town of Siwa Oasis, Egypt. Although most was happy for the Khepri's in the small moment of birth, her mother died not half an hour later of blood loss. With her mother's death, her father's sanity went with it.
For the first four years of Aiko's life she lived with her father and did all the housework as soon as she was able to walk and talk. Because Aiko is a relatively fast learner, she was able to talk full sentences at the age of 2. In those two years her father had neglected basic house chores, causing the house to be littered with cans,wrappers, tissues, dirt, dust and much, much more. Aiko immediately went to work, despite her young age. She quickly realized her father was incapable of taking care of himself, much less a child as well. It was practically a miracle her father had managed to keep Aiko alive for two years before finally breaking down.
The next two years were spent doing housework and running around the city to do basic errands. She didn't have the time to go to school, as her first priority was to keep her family fed and healthy. Most of the money her family had was from her mother's side, but her father had spent nearly all of it going to therapy that proved to be worthless. Weak and poor and unable to get a job at her age, Aiko was forced to begging for money in the streets. Although she hated it, begging was proving useful as she managed to get new groceries and medicines every couple of weeks. She continued living in this manner until she was four, then her grandparents finally showed up.
In Aiko's eyes her grandparent's sudden arrival was a blessing. In the few days they decided to stay and watch over Aiko, they were testing her. They tested her abilities to perform housework, and her manners. She passed these trials with flying colors as she had spent the last four years juggling housework, taking care of her father, educating herself and begging. She was extremely skilled and her grandparents decided to take Aiko in. This was the last time Aiko saw her father before she was whisked away to the city of Faiyum, which was around 514 kilometers from Siwa.
Since Aiko's grandparents were fairly rich, they could afford a car-ride throughout the desert to save time. It still took a long while, but they made it safely. Everything was rather different in Faiyum, but Aiko quickly adapted to the area. Her grandfather wasted no time in putting her skills to work. Almost immediately after they got to Faiyum, Aiko was set to do all the chores. Her grandfather was improving her housework skills to make her a great wife.
