]For the first theme of my design challenge, I bring you, Fire!
Living flames shoot up their legs and sparks fly from their mane, do you have what it takes to tame them?

Horse's name: Firebird Rising (Firebird)
Horse's personality: Firebird appears quiet and calm, but she has fire inside. She will fight for what she believes in, and is loyal to a fault. She loves foals and children. Firebird has a choppy trot, but a wonderful, flowing canter. Her walk is calm and contained, but her gallop! Her gallop is wild and erratic, yet lovely.
Horse's gender: mare
How do you tame them?:
I'm riding Ezra, my wonderful stallion through the woods. Suddenly his head perks up, and he gives a whinny.
"What's going on?" I ask him, but being a horse, Ezra doesn't answer. He prances in place, and then I see her.
The mare is black, with flame designs running up her legs. Her mane and tail are also fiery. She looks at Ezra and whinnies.
My stallion tosses his head, and I nudge him forward.
"Hello pretty lady..." I say. I'm pretty sure she's female by the fact that Ezra seems so interested in her. She flicks an ear at the sight of me. We are close enough now that I could touch her. Ezra nudges her with his nose, and she returns the gesture. Slowly, I reach out and touch the mare. She starts back, but I keep my hand on her, and sidepass Ezra so we stay with her. Slowly, she lowers her head. I stroke her neck, and the mare starts to lean into it, enjoying the feel.
"Want to come home with me, little firebird?" I know suddenly that this is what I will call this wonderful mare. Firebird.
I nudge Ezra with my knee and he walks forward. When Firebird doesn't follow, he whinnies, and she trots to catch up. Her trot is not as beautiful as the rest of her, but then she breaks into a flowing canter. I decide to ignore her trot. When we get back to the barn, I put Ezra in the large round pen, and Firebird comes in too. She doesn't protest as long as Ezra is with her. I think I just tamed myself a horse.
Extras:
Firebird is about 3 years old.
No one knows how she got her markings.
She lives in a stall next to Ezra.
Even though he is a stallion, Ezra has never tried to breed with her

Horse's personality: Cinder loves to play with friends. She is lively and playful if you get to know her, but appears calm and shy. She scares a few other horses with her flames from time to time, but she would never give in if you challenged her. She plays fair, and is very honest mostly. She has many friends though it is common for people no want to be her friend. She is a very kind horse, and usually isn't that loud.

How do you tame them?:
I originally met Cinder about a year ago, when she was really shy. I was taking a walk in a field, with my book. I was looking for a place to sit and read. I had loved the windy fields and I watched the nearby forest with interest. I easily found the perfect spot, in a tree, where I could feel the wind and enjoy the world without anyone poking me. ;u;

One morning, I discovered that there was smoke coming from the forest. In fear, I wandered over into a clearing to find where the flame was coming from. I called the lonely horse Cinder. She loved it when I visited her every day, I once asked her to come but her home was the forest. Even though she couldn't talk, I knew she must stay. That was until there was no forest...

I woke up in the middle of the night to see flame looking light put the window. At first I though Cinder was coming to visit me, but I had been wrong... Very wrong... I quickly stepped outside. I soon found myself running to the forest. The flames were destroying Cinders home, like it was no big deal at all. There was no way I could stop it, no matter how hard I tried. I called Cinder's name, there was no reply. I sighed but then the horse flew out of the forest, Running like wind. "Cinder? Will you come home with me?" I asked.

The young horse followed me home as we left the ruined forest. I remember those days well, it was great to meet Cinder. But I have to go... Cinder needs someone to play with.
